Poor Miles got neutered on Tuesday and has been fighting a secondary infection since Thursday. Good through to and prayers appreciated.

Miles is 5 months old today! What a character he is! His talents include purring loudly at 5am, parkour, attacking his funcles & canine siblings and being super sweet! We ❤️him!

A few weeks ago I decided to recreate my own Chat Noir. Miles was very eager to help and much less eager to pose for the camera.

18 months ago, when we decided to bring Ella into our home, we did so with the intention of breeding beautiful little munchkin kitties. When the time was right, we arranged a special date with a handsome siamese named Spike. And 2 months later our sweet little baby boy was born.

I had every intention of finding him just the right family to spend his life with but it turns out, I just can’t imagine this little guy not being a part of our family. Yes, we are keeping him. I called him Marvin because I needed to call him something until he found his furever home. And now that he’s found it, we’ve decided that his name will be Miles (yes, we are sticking with the musician theme).

Ella is going to be spayed and we will put the whole breeding thing behind us. I’m glad I tried it and I have a lot of respect for breeders who are reputable and provide healthy, well socialized pets for families to love.

So for now, meet Miles! We love him!!!!

Marvin is 4 weeks old today! He’s learning to play and he tried kitten food yesterday and he liked it! He’s more active, making it harder to trim his needle like claws!

When I google black or smoke Scottish folds, they almost always have amber eyes. But I’m holding out hope that Marvin will inherit his moms green eyes. On the left are his grandmas eyes, so amber is very much a possibility. Either way, he’s going to be a really gorgeous cat.

Please welcome Ella’s Motown Kitten, Marvin.

Last Monday, Ella had this sweet little kitten. She’s a great momma and he’s growing so fast. I believe he will be a non standard black (smoke) Scottish Fold/Staight. Stay tuned.

Ella had her ultrasound this morning and the sonographer only saw 1 kitten. We will know as soon as the kitten is born if he/she is a munchkin but we won’t know about the ears for a few weeks. Now, it’s the waiting game.
