“The Winds of Change”

The little cat sniffed the air. Warm winds were on the way and he knew what that meant. Would he still have time to say goodbye before it was too late?

Racing through the forest, he knew time was against him, but he just had to see him one more time. He spotted the snowman still sitting amongst the winter trees, and the cat heaved a sigh of relief. He’d made it just in time. He looked up and watched icy water start to slowly drip, drip down the snowman’s scarf. A tear squeezed from the cat's eye and drip, dripped off his whisker.

“Haven’t we had the best time together?” said the cat trying hard to sound cheery, knowing all too well what would happen next. “Thank you for all the fun. Will I see you again?”

The silence said it all. The little cat looked up one last time at the smiley face, with its cherry cheeks and orange nose. “Goodbye Mr Snowman. I’ll never forget you.”

Today at Aldi, I let a lady go ahead of me in line. She had just two items and a case of water, so instead of making her wait, I told her to go right ahead since I wasn’t in a rush.

She quickly ran back and grabbed some flowers. I didn’t think much of it at the time. After paying, she turned around, handed me the flowers, and said, “Happy Sunday!”

Then she added, “You have no idea how my life is right now, and I truly needed this sweet gesture. One kind act leads to another.”

Her words warmed my heart. Just be kind—because you never know how much a small act of kindness can mean to someone.

This is from another page (NOT my cat!); I'm all about sharing information that could potentially save any cat a near-death experience, not to mention the cat's staff major stress & unimaginable vet costs.

Just wanted to warn fellow cat owners, and pet owners in general:
The other day I purchased a Clorox toilet tab. Its purpose is to clean your toilet, it goes into your toilet tank. I put it in my tank.
The morning after, my cat was extremely sick suddenly. He was vomiting, very lethargic and hiding. His face was swollen and he was shaking.
I rushed him to vet. He started bleeding from his a**s. My vet told me she didn’t know if he was going to make it. He had elevated liver enzymes and the vet was asking if he had gotten into anything poisonous. I was very confused, because I am very careful what I have laying around the house.
Long story short - I discovered he had ingested some toilet water somehow, after a long investigation. He has been in hospital on IV for 2 days. This was enough to almost KILL him. Please be aware of this! This incident has costed me thousands of dollars in vet bills.
Edit: also a heads up cats are attracted to the smell of bleach. Beware of any cleaning products in your home that contain bleach! Even a small amount is enough to make them sick.
UPDATE: my cat was discharged this afternoon and is recovering. Thank you for the kind comments, I am so blessed he is going to be okay. ❤️
