I was wandering around the RR tracks, looking for love, when another pup told me about the kind folks who lived down the street in the old Allman Brothers house. I went over to check it out and sure enough, it was a happy, communal, dog-loving corner of Macon, right on highway 41. I was a little confused because the big house was on the corner, a grand Painted Lady, but The Big House was the old t
udor next door. Wendy took me in, but they didn't have room for another pup, so I became a new years gift to the (real) big house next door so I scored the awesome Victorian. I patrolled, marked and secured it well. Lots of music, good people and pilgrims from every corner of the planet came to visit. My favorite guest was Chuck Leavell, but man I sure do love those Bloodkin boys. My mama moved in in April of 2000 and my life of car rides, trips to the indian mounds and Rosehill began. We moved out west to California in 2004 and settled in Marin County. Dog parks, trips to the headlands, Salt Point and Limantour were my favorite places to go. I met all my left coast aunties and uncles and life was very good. A dog's life. ♥
