Abby is a young terrier mix! She is available for adoption through Almost Home-NO KILL Rescue. She can be very shy and timid at first but she is a sweet bundle of energy once she warms up to you! 🎉🐾 M E E T POLLY 🐾🎉
Polly is approx 1 year old and a Boston terrier (might be a mix but looks more like a purebred). She is up for adoption through Almost Home-NO KILL Rescue. She came to me after lacking the structure she needed with her first foster. She is a shy girl who warms up quickly to people! She will take time and patience to integrate with other dogs, or animals. But she will make a great snuggle buddy! After only a short time with me she is really starting to show her personality and open up.

🎊🐾 M E E T HARRY 🐾🎊
Harry is a 9 week old Pomeranian puppy. He was rescued by his mom who signed his sister up for sessions over the summer! When she rescued him she already knew how important starting training early was, so she called me right away to get this little guy in for the basics. He is with me for a 1-week board and train program to gain some confidence walking on a leash, learn the basic ques (sit, down, stay, come), and potty training foundations!

He is of course already a shining star in his training!

If any of you have been following my training page for a while you may remember Betty from a previous 1-week board and train program she did with me! She was recently surrendered to me by her owner that had some unforeseen health issues arise. Betty is a sweet, spunky, young Bichon mix! Her ears make her even better!

🎉🐾 M E E T POPPY 🐾🎉
Poppy is a 10-month-old wire haired terrier mix! She started training with me when her mom signed them up for an 8-private session package. They have been doing amazing completing their homework each week and now Poppy is here for a short 1-night stay to get her ready for her longer stay during the holidays.

FUN FACT: Poppy is in her explore stage of puppyhood right now. This is when puppies tend to become flight risks and try to adventure too far from home. Luckily Poppy's mom signed her up for training just in time to help prevent these unwanted behaviors!

I know that it has been a while since I have posted an update on here. We had some major life changes take place and have been busy handling that. But we are back!

While we were gone, Zoey (white and black parsons terrier mix) and Sissy (black mouthed wired hair mix) completed their 2-week board and train programs! YAY🥳🎉 I had the joy of walking a new dog named Murphy(goldendoodle)! Savannah (black wire hair terrier mix) was adopted and we received a new foster named Andi (black shih-tzu) Levi (blue and white shih- tzu) and Harvey (white and tan Chihuahua) are becoming the best of friends and Rosie (white and black bull terrier) and Ryder (white and tan pit mix) paid us a quick weekend visit! I am so glad to be back!

As the colder weather creeps in make sure to keep you pups warm! There are tons of ways to tire out our dogs even indoors. When the weather makes it hard to stay outside too long, you can play fun games inside!

Examples:
-Hide and seek
-Puzzle feeders/mats
-lick mats
-Teaching a new skill
The list goes on and on!

Her mom signed her up for a 2-week board and train program to work on unwanted puppy behaviors such as; barking, jumping, pulling on leash, nervous of dogs bigger than her, etc. As she starts her second week of training I am sure she will make great progress!

We are looking for fosters for innocent dogs that are trapped behind bars. Their lives are at risk due to overpopulation and lack of space. If we don’t step up then who will? Please foster and save a life! Fosters do get FIRST option to adopt!
