Is your pet staying hydrated this summer? Proper hydration is crucial, especially during the hot months. Dogs and cats fed a kibble-only diet can suffer from chronic dehydration, leading to health issues like kidney disease, bladder stones, and diabetes. Watch for symptoms like loss of appetite, lethargy, vomiting, dark-colored urine, excessive panting, and pale or bright red gums. 🐶🐱
Why Hydration Matters:
🟣 Bone broth and goat’s milk are excellent additions to your pet's diet. Superfoods like bone broth, goat’s milk, cow kefir, and veggies (watermelon, cucumbers, lettuce, broccoli, Brussels sprouts) help keep pets hydrated.
Hydration Tips:
1️⃣ Make pupsicles or ice cubes from bone broth or goat’s milk.
