As me and all of the other students work their way through finals this week and next, I want to remind everyone to please be kind to your veterinarians and their staff. Vet school is HARD and I mean HARD. It’s draining, more expensive than ever, and more than anything, I am tired. I have dedicated myself to over 20 credits per semester, so when you take your pet to the vet next, remember that they have put their souls into what they are doing. There’s no “in it for the money”, we do this because we love animals, we love a challenge, and we love doing some good.

Awful story out of Fond Du Lac county where a K9 officer was shot in the line of duty yesterday. Thank god for the officers first aid training he was able to likely save his partners life. My thoughts are with them and the team at Blue Pearl in Appleton for a safe recovery💞
