✨✨ Fri-YAY and today's CVT highlight is our other Lead CVT, JESSI YAEKEL ✨✨

Jessi has been with Truesdell almost 4 years, with a short period of time at another clinic exploring emergency medicine. There she enhanced her medical knowledge, skills, and gained more experience in surgery. Jessi realized that her passion as a CVT is with preventative medicine and fear-free handling. She strives to make the clinic experience as stress-free and pleasant as possible for both her patients and their family.

Jessi also cares deeply about Truesdell and her team. She works diligently to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for the team while helping train up staff to reach their next level of potential. Jessi has flourished as one of our Lead CVTs and we are excited to see how she continues to partner with Bore and elevate the Truesdell team.

✨✨ CVT Highlight #2 of 2 today is for CARLEEN BOHN ✨✨

Carleen has been with Truesdell about 3 months. She has been a great addition to the team and jumped right in! Carleen's passions are in surgery, client education, and care for our senior/geriatric patients. She takes pride and care in helping families through those difficult times and additionally helping heal those patients after surgery and make full recoveries. Carleen is energized to grow and advance her skills even further! Fun fact about Carleen, is that she enjoys making unique art pieces and sculptures with oddities that she finds in nature.

Meghan just joined Truesdell October 1st and brings with her 2+ years experience in ER and overnight Critical Care experience. She enjoys learning anything and everything that she can and elevating her skills. Meghan passed her National Exam earlier this year and continues to look for higher education opportunities and ways to gain new skills. Meghan loves to stay active in her free time by boxing! We are excited to have Meghan join the team and look forward to watching her grow!!

Bore has been with Truesdell since October of 2022. He moved to the Madison area from California. Bore brings with him a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience. He excels as one of our primary Surgery Technicians and assists with training other CVTs and VAs. Bore brings a positive energy to the clinic and always sees the light in things.

This week we honor all of our amazing CVT and VA staff, who play vital role in the care of our patients and support for our DVMS. While we like to honor both our VA and CVT staff the whole week with games, food, gifts and praise, this year we want to highlight our AMAZING Certified Veterinary Technicians.

🩺Certified Veterinary Technicians differ from our Veterinary Assistants in that they went through rigorous skills training, schooling, and testing to ensure a high level of knowledge and skills. At the end of their schooling program, all aspiring CVTs must pass a National Exam to receive their Certification. Additionally, every 2 years they must obtain additional Continuing Education Credits to maintain their license.

✨Each day this week we would like to highlight one of our dedicated CVTs. Please join us in recognizing all of our amazing VA and CVT staff.✨
