Good evening everyone, I am planning a trip up to Jamestown here in the next couple of days. Praise God my health is finally getting better, knock on wood, I have not had a seizure in a few months now. Friends, family & wonderful, caring and understanding clients:

As most of you know, this has been the year from hell for Jessi with one health issue after another. She has bravely struggled thru most of these. But, recently she has developed severe seizures and they have proven to be extremely hard on her. She is in the hospital right now and depending on the results of the MRI and EEG on her brain, hopefully she will be released today or tomorrow. Please keep Jessi in your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure when she gets to feeling stronger, she'll welcome phone calls and text messages. Thank you.

We were all joking around before hand, so when I opened this horses mouth, I said, "welp, may have found the problem. There's a stick lodged in there." Everyone laughed, thinking I was joking as before. I said "Guys! NO, SERIOUSLY A STICK! Lodged in this horses mouth." Amazing find here! Not everyday you see this

Large step on lower arcades. This horse is a 30 yr old Arabian mare. The owner took her to the vet last month and he looked inside her mouth and said she was too old for him to do anything to her teeth. I completely disagree with statement. Yes, most of her teeth are expired and are of no use to her. But for the love of God almighty, that step...that tooth that is protruding into her upper pallate with every chew. That is inhumane to me to leave her that way. I reduced the tooth to down under half the size it was, got the rest of the top teeth floated which had extremely sharp points digging into her.

I am not basking any veterinarian. EVER. They deserve their title as Dr. as they worked very hard for that. But when faced with a problem like this, instead of saying "nothing to be done" I think he should have said "I don't know how to fix this but let me research and find someone who can get the horse comfortable"

That is my goal as an equine dentist is to make every horse comfortable, no matter how little or how much work I do.

HEY EVERYONE!

I am officially starting back doing dentals next week. 🥳 🎉 🎊 🍾

It has been a long rode to recovery, but my arms are feeling much better!

Thank you to all of my clients and potentially new ones who have been patient with me. I love what I do more than anything, but it sure is hard on my body lol
With that being said, I will be cutting back to only doing 5- 7 MAX per day from now on just so this doesn't happen again, because unfortunately, it can.
