Today, our wonderful Jasper got neutered! He did so well! This baby is just 11 months old, now neutered, vaccinated, microchips, AND heartworm negative!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 We are so happy for him! You really never know what is the health status of a newly rescue dog… But, Jasper is one very lucky boy. He will be healed in no time! We are very excited to say, that we are now accepting applications to adopt Jasper! Remember, he can travel to CT, MJ,NY, and the Pacific Northwest. ***other states may be considered. A few weeks back, I reported the distressing situation of a pregnant, emaciated dog who was chained up. The owner mentioned that she had given birth just two days prior. Despite this, Animal Control only checked on the newborn puppies and promised to return next week for deworming. Unfortunately, the extreme heat led to the tragic loss of two pups, as temperatures soared to 110 degrees. Meet Jasper! Our new rescue dog!

A few months ago, I helped a female dog who was living chained up in a tree. I called Montgomery Animal Control, but they did not take the dog. Despite reporting the poor conditions she was kept in, nothing was done. Determined to help, we decided to step in and offer assistance to benefit the dog. After speaking with the owner several times, he finally agreed to allow us to spay her and vaccinate her. We are dedicated to supporting our community and providing assistance to owned animals that may not receive help otherwise. After getting her spayed, we also provided her with heartworm prevention and Bravecto to keep her free from fleas for three months. Today, I visited her again and spoke with the owner; this time, he decided to surrender her to us.
