A man stopped at my front door to pick up an old plastic crate I had thrown away. We asked him what he needed the crate for, he said he would need it to dump the dog because he already has too many. This sweet girl already has puppies, and he has given them away. Her gums are pale, she is underweight, and she still has milk 😭😭 We urgently need sponsorship or funding for spaying and vaccinations. As many of you know, our beloved Rosie was lost in the woods for 6 long days. We are so grateful to have her back home in Texas, but she is facing some health challenges. After taking her to our veterinarian, we learned that Rosie is anemic and needs immediate treatment. Our vet has recommended IV fluids, and she has also started a course of doxycycline to combat the several tick bites she sustained during her ordeal. There’s nothing more heartwarming than witnessing the joy of our rescued dogs. David is thriving after a tough past; he was attacked by other dogs when he was a stray. Then there’s PJ a brave soul who endured the unimaginable—hit by a car and left to struggle in pain on the streets for days. Sadly, we couldn’t save his leg, and amputation was necessary. But despite his challenges, PJ radiates love and joy. He’s incredibly affectionate, playful, and submissive, always greeting us with a beautiful smile that shines with happiness and gratitude.
