She will capture all the qualities of your pet that you love and create a forever memory in that will bring you joy for a lifetime. From a very young age, I began to understand the mirror into our lives animals and pets can offer.. They share in our joys, our pains, our insecurities, our failures and our successes. I have a deep appreciation and love for every dog or horse that crosses my path. I
consider myself so very fortunate to have lived a childhood full of animals and the unconditional companionship they provide. My first dog was an Australian-Shepherd mix, Shelly, who taught me so much about the relationships that are possible with pets. As one of the best-trained dogs I’ve owned, she was a constant companion and best friend. Chase, my precious blue Cattle Dog, remains a legend among my friends and family and played an instrumental role in fostering my love for the working breeds. We learned how to work sheep and cows, and from there I purchased my first Border Collie for herding trials – what amazing dogs. From our family pets to 4H animals, I experienced a lot of critters, and advanced my passion and affection for animals through college with a degree in Equine Management and Training. Over the years, my love of animals has only continued to grow. With my husband, we’ve trained our own Labrador and German Shorthaired Pointers to be exceptional bird dogs. My family and I shared so much love and joy with each of these dogs during the years we were blessed to have them in our lives. Though the passing of a pet can be incredibly heart-wrenching, it’s the love and memories that remain with us, change us, and make us appreciate the time we have with them. In 2010, our family decided to add two fuzzy Newfoundland puppies to our household, and they have continued to teach us more about giving and receiving the gifts of trust and love than we ever expected. Through my photography, I strive to capture the unique relationships with our pets that we all experience and want to remember for all time.
