Feral Cats of Bergen County 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to trapping, vetting, socializing and rehoming feral and stray cats! We mostly deal with ferals, we typically do not just TNR.

We are a local non-profit, on a missions to rescue as many cats as we can. If possible we try to socialize so that they are later adoptable. At any given time we are working with over 30 cats. With that being said we are always looking for help. We are in need of volunteers and can always use donations. Please feel free to reach out to see how you can make a difference today!

Bandit and Angela have been in foster for almost 2 years & would LOVE to find a home together.

This mother daughter duo was trapped in May of 2023. Bandit, momma is likely about 3 years old. Angela will be 2 in April. Bandit was being cared for by a kind person who spotted her in their back yard. She soon noticed she had a little of 3 teeny tiny kittens & contacted FCBC. They were trapped and went right into foster to be socialized.

Bandit is 100% a lap cat. She loves to cuddle up in your lap, make biscuits, purr, and nap. Her foster said that if she let Bandit sit in her lap for 8 hours a day, Bandit would be happy to do it. Angela is sweet but a little more shy. She loves churu, playing with toys, and cuddling up with her mom. Angela is a very sweet cat but not yet interested in cuddling her humans (loves to be pet). We do think that will progress when she’s out of foster with other cats and in a home where she can relax and truly bond with her humans.

Join us at Outback Steakhouse in Wayne New Jersey on Monday, February 24th.

We have partnered with Outback to raise money for FCBC. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the rescue. For just $20 per person, you’ll get an awesome meal and a night out.

Did you know? 😺

When your cat walks around with their mouth slightly open, it’s not always a sign of discomfort! This is called the “Flehman response”—it’s their way of sniffing something more intensely. Cats have a special organ called the Jacobsen’s organ that helps them detect pheromones and gather more info about their environment or you! 🐾

Happy news for Rascal! He was recently adopted and is back with his best friend Danny who went home a few months ago.

We are so happy for these boys and glad they are reunited. They’re the best of friends and have an amazing life ahead! 🖤🤍
