Feral Cats of Bergen County 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to trapping, vetting, socializing and rehoming feral and stray cats! We mostly deal with ferals, we typically do not just TNR.

We are a local non-profit, on a missions to rescue as many cats as we can. If possible we try to socialize so that they are later adoptable. At any given time we are working with over 30 cats. With that being said we are always looking for help. We are in need of volunteers and can always use donations. Please feel free to reach out to see how you can make a difference today!

Did you know? 😺

When your cat walks around with their mouth slightly open, it’s not always a sign of discomfort! This is called the “Flehman response”—it’s their way of sniffing something more intensely. Cats have a special organ called the Jacobsen’s organ that helps them detect pheromones and gather more info about their environment or you! 🐾

Happy news for Rascal! He was recently adopted and is back with his best friend Danny who went home a few months ago.

We are so happy for these boys and glad they are reunited. They’re the best of friends and have an amazing life ahead! 🖤🤍

🚨Urgent Intake🚨

Meet Kirby. He was living outside and we were made aware of him by a kind person who found him and brought him to the vet. He’s in rough shape and tested positive for FIV. He’s isolated in our care, being fed & hydrated round the clock.

We our going to do our best to get him healthy again. Please consider donating towards his vet care.

🚨Urgent Foster Need🚨

We were notified of two, three year old male cats who were left behind when their family moved. Aldina & Giacobbe are Russian Blue brothers. They’re bonded and must stay together. Good with people & love one another very much. Shy around other animals.

We want to help & take them on, but they need to be in a home as we don’t think they’ll acclimate well at the rescue. If you’re interested in fostering, please reach out. These boys are scared and confused and deserve so much love. 🩶🩶

Meet some of our pawsome kittens in foster who are all looking for forever homes!

Taco & Beans - bonded brothers. 8 months old. Sweet & playful. Good with dogs & other cats.

Hubble - male, 11 weeks old. Lovable little kitten with a big personality. Must be adopted to a home with another cat or with another FCBC friend.

Diesel - male, 4.5 months old. Shy but sweet. Needs other cat friends in a home. Loves to play and is coming out of his shell every day.

Chester - male, 4 months old. He’s a purr machine, LOVES people, loves to play. Great with other cats & kittens.
