Hello all,
Meet our little girl Shina, She’s 6 months old now and she is a very sweet little girl with an amazing temperament , she's kind and gentle as well as has lots of energy, she loves cuddles, laying in the sun and she is very smart and quick to learn, she's an amazing little girl. She’s a pure breed chihuahua puppy . Her coat is changing colour from black/tan to black /tan /silky grey. She's fully vaccinated, desexed, monthly nextgaurd specture which covers fleas, ticks and worms. She is good with cats but has a lot of energy and ours is not fussed as she is older. She is great with kids but does have a tendency to jump up at them aswell as when she sees new people (she loves people) she does require to be more socialised with more dogs as due to life we haven't had the opportunity for her to do this as often as we would like (another reason for our decision) Shes council registered and microchipped. She has no medical issues. Being that she is a chihuahua she needs a gentle shampoo so her skin does not react, we have been using oat shampoo, which she will come with and only requires a bath once a week (provided she is not into much and stays clean) as this helps her natural oils to keep her skin free from eczema or skin conditions. She is toilet trained to go on a puppy toilet mat inside but may not tell you she needs to go outside and accidents can occur. She dosent like her nails to be long, however we have tried to help her with this by laying her inbetween our legs and giving treats and praise during the process and only cutting a little off them each week, she is also good with a nail file. She is ok in the car and also absolutely loves the beach and sometimes can refuse to get in the car after being at the beach. Unfortunately she isn't lead trained and can pull very hard during the walks until she gets tired. She has been mostly inside when we are home and at night and outside during the day while we are at work and does great in entertaining herself during the day and doesn't dig while outside, she doesn't have any seperation anxiety at all and she sleeps in the seperate area to everyone at night. She loves her zoomies when she gets excited. She is not crate trained and has not even been in a crate in her life, previous to us having her she was on a farm. She knows the commands sit, stay, stop, (when biting at hands) where's your toy and go to the toilet(sometimes for this one), she needs more training with other things and she responds to her name very well. She loves to chew toys up, she loves chasing a toy/ball if you throw it and she will bring it back to you but can take time for her to drop it but she does eventually, she loves tug a war aswell. She will come with everything she needs toys, bed, specture, food, bowls, etc.
Ideal owner: We think Shina would be better suited with a family that has another dog and has the time to give her the attention and training she needs for her to live her best life.
Please note this is a hard decision for us to have to do and we will be picking someone that we feel will be what Shina needs as that is all we want, is the absolute best for her as we think she is amazing.
