Let us introduce Kirby!

Kirby is about 2-3yrs and was recently transferred to us from our friends at the Bucksport Animal Shelter. This guy has spent many months waiting for a home but was being overlooked time and time again. Kirby is definitely not lacking in the looks department, that round squishy face and extra toes on every foot 😻

Kirby can be shy in new environments, but with time he will blossom into a lovely man. He seems great with other cats and dogs.

Honeybun has been waiting very patiently for a home of her own.

She is a funny little spice cake, and would surprisingly be just fine on her own. Ideally we do not like to adopt out kittens as the only cat in the home, however Honeybun is Queen Bee and is a-okay without other kitties all over her. On the flip side, Honeybun is very loving, playful and enjoys smothering you at night. She is also great with dogs!

Arthur has quite a lot to say about him still being available for adoption.

Arthur and Arnold (and their sister, Agnes) are all lovely 3.5 month olds. They enjoy the company of other cats and are doing fabulous with dogs.

We are excited to start our wreath fundraiser very soon!

Even more exciting is that our beautiful wreaths will be displayed at the Bucksport Veterinary Hospital, and you can purchase them there! We are hoping to have some ready by next week. So, if you’re planning on getting a wreath soon, keep us in mind! All proceeds of the wreaths will go to our animals.

Oscar is about 2years old, and just PERFECT!

Besides being absolutely stunning, this guy is so lovable and silly. He is doing well with dogs, and very well with docile cats (he is afraid of dominant cats that harass him).

ADOPTION PENDING 😻

Fred (buff) and George (orange) have been with us for quite some time.

They are just a year old and arrived very timid and shut down. While George has fully opened up and loves attention, Fred needs a softer approach. He can be head shy and doesn’t like when people come too quickly at him. However, he is a hoot and does enjoy being pet once he feels comfortable. George is also a riot, very playful, chirpy and all the antics of an orange kitty.

These guys are truly bonded and need a home together. They are extremely friendly with all cats and are getting very comfortable around dogs.

Wanted to take a moment and introduce Ruby. While Ruby has many weeks of recovery, we are optimistic that she will pull through. It appears that Ruby is missing an eye completely and is mostly, if not fully, blind in the other. She is full of sweetness and we are blown away at how trusting this little lady is already. We will continue to post updates along her journey ❤️

ADOPTED

Drumstick is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt! He is a typical, happy go lucky baby. His mom is a beagle/dachshund and dad is a German Shepherd. He has proportionate legs, unlike his short brothers, we have no idea how big he will get.

He will be getting neutered in December, and can be officially adopted then.

Starlight is 5 months old and ready to find her own family.

We have had Starlight for a few months, she came in with her twin sister, Stardust, and while Starlight was immediately friendly and trusting, it took her sister many weeks to open up and enjoy our company. Because of their strong bond, we held off on searching for a home until we knew her sister a bit more, that way we could place them in a home together.

Unfortunately during her spay, Stardust passed away. While our hearts are still tender, we will forever cherish the bond that she shared with her sister, and all the trust that she faithfully showed us.

We would like to move forward and find Starlight the most perfect home that she deserves. She is quiet and has the sweetest personality. She gets along fine with everyone and everything. She truly is a wonderful, little lady!
