We are SO baffled why it’s been so hard to find this girl the PERFECT home. Please read her bio carefully if you are interested.

Sookie is probably close to 2 years old, and is right around 35lbs. She is a super fun, loving dog. She rides great in the car, she is house trained, she walks good on a leash, she is crate trained. Yes, she will also try to jump on your counter, and will lick a stranger to death. She really loves to curl up in your lap and snuggle. She has the most precious personality.

Sookie really loves to play and rough house with other dogs. BUT she will react with high value toys with other dogs. She does not care if her pal has the same toy, she will get it and be assertive about it. This does not mean she is “aggressive”. This means keep the high value items to a minimum, or not at all.

Sookie also really, I mean really loves cats. But cats often do not appreciate her antics. So no cats, or cats that can stand up to her are a must.

We really want this girl in a perfect home that will love her fully. She deserves it!

Saffron has been with us for quite some time. She is now about 6 months old and as sweet as she is beautiful.

Saffron is looking for an understanding home that will accept that she will most likely be a sniffly cat. She has a chronic cold that comes and goes. Keeping her on immune support supplements and having a less stressful environment helps keep the flare ups at bay.

Beluga here! This guy has been overlooked time and time again. If you’re in the market for the most wonderful, adult cat, he is it!

Beluga is about 2-3years old, he has a lovely, funny personality. He is playful but also loves to curl up on your lap. He is fine with dogs and befriends cats easily after he makes it known he is head man.

We have had 10 beautiful wreaths donated to us to fundraise with. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to our spay and neuter funds, spefically for local colony cats.

UPDATE PENDING!

Meet Addison! This little lady will be ready for adoption this week!

Addison is a 3 month old, stunning girl. She is your typical happy go lucky puppy. She has the best foster parents that are giving her a great foundation.

We are unsure what Addison is mixed with and we can not guess how big the she will be. We will leave a photo of her mom in the comments, dad is unknown.

What’s One Moore was founded with the sole purpose of being able to help local animals and local people. While we are not against transporting animals into the state, we, as an organization, know how much help is needed right here within our own communities.

90% of our animals come from Stockton Springs, Prospect and Searsport. While we may not be able to take in hundreds of animals, we are doing what we can with what we have.

We are not an organization that will publicly bash and humiliate those that have sought help for their animal. We are not going tear apart people who choose to live a lifestyle in which we do not relate.

For the health and happiness of our animals, we choose to remain a foster-based rescue - meaning after intake and quarantine, ALL animals get to live among families until they find their forever homes.

Thank you to all who has supported us in one way or another, we couldn’t do any of this without you ❤️ photo of our Obi who is enjoying the life of being a foster pup.

Sorry, these ladies are so loving they will not stay still for a photo!

Autumn and Aspen are roughly 6-9months old, very bonded and absolutely gorgeous. They both are medium haired tabbies with feather duster tails!

While on the shy side in the beginning, needing a couple days to adjust, they are the sweetest girls! They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped.

We have some puppies looking for foster-to-adopt homes. This means you will essentially be adopting them but they aren’t quite ready for adoption (ex. They need to be spayed/fully vaccinated).

These girls are 9-10 weeks old, their mom is a beagle mix of sorts, but we have ZERO idea what the dad is (most likely something larger and furry 😂).

Our puppy adoption fee is 400 - they will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and flea treated.

While our foster families are AMAZING, please keep in mind that puppies are not fully potty trained, crate trained or leash savvy.

We have some special needs/sick kitties with us right now - we would be entirely grateful for donations of cleaning supplies (such as paper towels, disinfectant sprays, gloves). A huge thank you to Maine Pet & Aquarium for their wonderful donations and all who gave to their Giving Tree this Christmas for many of the shelters in the area 😻 Millie was first in line to pick out what she wanted. She is also STILL looking for her forever home ❤️

Did you know we have only been an established animal rescue since August, 2023? Just in the last 4 MONTHS we have committed to, rescued and adopted out 68 animals!!
