Banjo spotlight!

Can it really get any cuter than him? If you’ve been lucky enough to meet this guy, you know exactly how irresistible he is. He will melt into your lap and stay there forever. Banjo is about 8-9months old and is such a sweet soul. He can get a little nervous sometimes in new places, but just needs a little reassurance. He is a low energy pup, enjoying some playtime and then curling up for the day. Banjo is smart and will thrive with someone who wants a fun dog to teach. Banjo does best with his brother Oboe, but can play with other dogs atter a proper introduction. He does great with cats and kids. Banjo is crate trained and doing well with potty training.

Let’s focus on one of our bestest boys, Oboe ❤️

Oboe is about 8-9months, and is fantastic. He is kind and gentle, happy and funny. He is a mild energy pup, he enjoys ruffing around with his fur friends but then likes to spend the day curled up in his favorite spots. He loves to be next to you, where you settle, he will be right at your feet. He is crate trained and has been so good about asking to go out. He does great with dogs, cats and kids!

Arnold is the last of his siblings to find a home!

Which is baffling because he is the spunkiest of them all! Arnold would really love to find his person that appreciates his quirks. Such as jumping off high places to land on your shoulders or taking advantage anytime you’re bent over to give himself a piggy back ride.

Arnold is close to 4 months now, he absolutely loves other cats and dogs.

We are absolutely blown away at what 18 days can do.

Topaz is from a feral colony in Prospect. On intake, we weren’t sure if he was strong enough to recover. With one eye already ruptured and gone, the other exploding with infection, his body emaciated, the biggest worm belly and flea ridden - but the one thing he didn’t lack was his appetite. So we took that as the first sign that this guy is a fighter.

Now just 18 days later, the infection in his body is gone and he can even close his eye! Topaz will be having his eye removed in the next few weeks to set him up for the most comfortable future. While he is blind, we have no doubt that this guy will be happy. 😻

Pippen, Penny and Boog are 5 year old ferrets in need of a new home. While their momma loves them dearly, hard times have come and needs help finding them a safe place. They are bonded and must stay together. They are sweet ferrets and have been exposed to cats and dogs. Their current set up and accessories will go with them. Located in the Bucksport area.

Having ferret experience will be priority. Please reach out if you are interested and we will put you in contact with the owner if we think it’s the best fit.

Two gentlemen up for adoption!

Banjo (fawn) and Oboe (brindle) are 7-8 months old. It is hard to put them into words, other than they are both WONDERFUL. Even though they have lived completely outside until now, they are doing very well with potty training, crate training and basic manners. Both Oboe and Banjo are very laid back, easy going boys. They are great with cats and kids.

Now, our trouble with them, seems to be that they are very bonded. Typically, we do not promote adopting out siblings together at a young age due to littermate syndrome. However, we also know that the rare occasion comes along, and these boys seem to be it. Saying “adopt them together” or “do not split them up!” is the easy part, unfortunately finding them a home together seems nearly impossible. We will entertain any and all applications for these boys, because what matters most is that they are loved and cherished. And most importantly PLEASE SHARE ❤️

🐾 Cleaning supplies (bleach, hydrogen peroxide cleaners, paper towels, cleaning wipes)

Let us introduce Kirby!

Kirby is about 2-3yrs and was recently transferred to us from our friends at the Bucksport Animal Shelter. This guy has spent many months waiting for a home but was being overlooked time and time again. Kirby is definitely not lacking in the looks department, that round squishy face and extra toes on every foot 😻

Kirby can be shy in new environments, but with time he will blossom into a lovely man. He seems great with other cats and dogs.

Honeybun has been waiting very patiently for a home of her own.

She is a funny little spice cake, and would surprisingly be just fine on her own. Ideally we do not like to adopt out kittens as the only cat in the home, however Honeybun is Queen Bee and is a-okay without other kitties all over her. On the flip side, Honeybun is very loving, playful and enjoys smothering you at night. She is also great with dogs!
