Dallas DogRRR’s very own Mr. Pickles has been selected to compete in the 2025 Puppy Bowl! 🎉 This little superstar was rescued right here in Dallas, and now he’s taking his talents to the biggest game in rescue sports!

From fighting for a second chance to chasing touchdowns, Mr. Pickles is a true champion. We couldn’t be more excited to see him represent rescue dogs everywhere and show the world just how incredible these pups are.

Just a few we have been Blessed enough to love 💔❤️‍🩹💔

“What’s the hardest part about having a dog?” they asked, their tone casual, like it was just another question.

I glanced at the worn leash hanging by the door, my chest tightening. “Letting them go,” I said quietly.

They frowned a little, waiting for me to explain. “They come into your life like they were always meant to be there,” I said, trying to find the words. “They make everything better—simpler, brighter. And you think it’s always going to be that way. But it’s not. One day, they’re gone, and you’re left with all the space they used to fill.”

They nodded, but I wasn’t sure they understood. “It’s not the messes they made or the routines you have to let go of,” I continued. “It’s the absence. You walk into the house, and it feels... wrong. The quiet is heavier. The mornings don’t feel the same without them nudging you awake.”

“So why do it?” they asked, their voice softer this time.

I sighed, glancing down at my hands. “Because the love they give you is worth every bit of the heartache. They teach you how to love without holding back, even when you know it’s going to hurt in the end. And you keep choosing that love because you know it’s one of the best things you’ll ever feel.”

ABSOLUTELY HEARTBROKEN FOR THIS PUG BOY 😭

Anna my rescue colleague in Tijuana wrote this:

"They say he has him tied up day and night in the cold! He has no home bed blanket nothing, he is skin and bones the puppy without water, barely can move. The poor puppy they say they hit him very badly why he cries all the time 😥 they say he has hurt a paw also from a blow they gave him. He is In Ensenada."

Made me cry to know he lives tied up like this with WIRES in some junkyard and can barely move, and it's so cold at night, he is starving AND the beat him! 😭 Subhumans!

Ensenada is a couple hours away from Tijuana but Anna is on her way there NOW to find him and save him for us if possible! I pray we can get him!!

For everyone asking why the foundation doesn't move out of California. He is your answer. Andy is your answer. Hansel and Gretel. Joey. Bennet. Bernard. And dozens and dozens more which won't be saved if we aren't here. If anything, moving closer to the border with Mexico makes the most sense!!

Let's pray we get this beautiful boy and end the abuse!

OUTSIDE IN THE COLD AND RAIN .. BY HERSELF .. IN FILTH .. NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD. 😭

She is in Bakersfield.
It's a couple hours away from us and I never go that way.
BUT!!
I just happen to be driving there for another foundation business. And I would love to rescue her! I feel like it's meant to be!
