The point of the reel is to show people that anyone can train their dog! We got this dog at 8 weeks and then I had a brain injury when the dog was a year old. She had minimal training prior to the brain Injury. I think all she knew was sit. So the only thing that was different was that I had the luxury, if you wanna call it that, of recovering for years but these tricks she learned in about one week with consistent patience and follow through. I would’ve never had time to do this, even being a Dog Trainer I was constantly busy training other peoples dogs and dealing with my menagerie of other animals. This all happened in such a short time because i was so hyper focused on this. so what this is saying is that anyone can do this! You just need to make the commitment to stick with it. It doesn’t take long, and although I have a lot of dog experience, I feel like anyone could do this. It’s not brain surgery no pun intended.😏

Not feeling great skin is very hot😪

So recovering from a brain injury, leaves you with a lot of time you never had before. Then you get these great ideas about teaching your dog new tricks but you don’t think it all the way through -now I have a sneezing Chihuahua who follows me around waiting for the payoff.🧠🤦🏻‍♀️
