Just got turned away from Sparks Marina RV Park in Reno because they discriminate against “Bullied Breeds.” As a proud advocate for Dobermans, I’m outraged by this backwards thinking. Breed discrimination is unfair and ineffective. We must end this ignorance and make it clear that such unfair policies are unacceptable! I urge everyone to boycott this establishments and one’s like this to put pressure on these businesses to change their outdated policies

Anyone following the Aranwood Kennel animal seizure and arrest of animal control officer and kennel owner Rich DuBarton:

This will be for a public meeting. Topics for discussion will include...

Reinstating the kennel license for Aranwood Kennels, which is supposed to be voted on tonight.

Accountability of the health department going forward for all boarding, training and grooming facilities. What protocols they have and will be putting in place to ensure this does not happen ever again in the town of Mahwah.

Requesting an update from the health department on the dogs still in Mr. Dubartons care and what their follow-up has included as well as what they plan for the future.

We are asking for people to please attend the meeting to show support from our community and that we will not tolerate animal neglect and cruelty in Mahwah. It also makes the statement that the health department must continue to be accountable for what goes on at Arranwood Kennels as well as other animal related businesses in the town.

As someone who was involved in removing animals from this case, I can not stress enough the importance of your attendance at tonights meeting. The more people in attendance will show the town of mahwah that our community is a united front that will not allow this type of cruelty in or around our town. The animals have no voice, and they need us to be their voices!!
