Today I turned Bowen & Layla into Cosmo and Wanda! They are sooo cute! As school goes back into session this week I will be losing my bestest helper Carli Cole. My scheduling for grooming will be changing a bit. No worries I will still get all of my regulars in! If an appointment has to be rescheduled it will be a while before I can fit you back in. If you’d like a color service I definitely need to know when you make your appointment as this takes much longer than a regular groom! I love the way these guys turned out ♥️

Another week, another wonderful group of furbabies! Mud, rain… none of it stops us from having a fantastic time on The Hill ♥️ As summer vacations slow down, it makes me kind of sad! I have loved every minute and every week with alllll of my favorite babies! If you’ve stayed with us this summer and have never left a review before, please by all means leave us a HONEST review! I love all of the feedback from my clients ♥️ if you plan to be out of town for fall break, I urge you to go ahead and book your stay as it seems to fill up quiet quickly ♥️

Things have been super busy on The Hill the last couple weeks! So much pup love! ❤️ from space buns to a mean game of “who can get the ball” (btw, the three legged scrappy girl won every round) to work work work…it’s always so fun to watch all the different personalities!! We love them all!! 🩷💙🩵🩷

Vacation for me is over! However, it never stopped here on The Hill ❤️ so many beautiful babies over the last few weeks have came and went… plus I came back to work grooming to some of my favorite clients, can’t beat that! (Yes, we board cats too!)

On to even better news…The addition is finally coming along! It will not be long until we will open our doors to our brand new boarding building! I am soooo excited! We will be able to house many many more babies once its complete! I have my fingers crossed that by September 1 (hopefully sooner) it will be complete. When the boarding building is open, I will be doing a huge revamping in the doggie spa. Grooming customers will no longer have to deal with boarding customers, it will be grooming only in the current building and it will be totally redone! I will also be adding a huge area for the kitties that come and stay with us that they will absolutely love! I am so excited for the future of the business and the betterment of the facilities and what we have to offer!

Honestly, things keep popping up on my memories from two years ago and I cannot believe how far it has came since then… and now it’s growing even more, I am so thankful to the community, friends, family, everyone that has had a part in supporting me! I love each and everyone of you guys! Thanks again! 😘

I am on vacation until the 16th! I’ve tried to think of everyone that may have had an appointment, if your scheduled for the 10th, your still good. I am still boarding but no grooming except the little poodles on the 10th! I apologize for any inconveniences, I will be back to grooming on the 16th! Thank you and enjoy your holiday please! ❤️❤️

Another week has passed and we have arrived quickly into July! June has been outstanding and sooo many wonderful babies have spent their vacation with us ♥️ lots of new friends were made! The Milo’s had a blast! Feebie loved playing with the frenchies! My job is so rewarding, tiring, yet rewarding. There is no break, there is no set hours, it’s a 24/7 job but I love each and every one of these fur childern as if they were my own!

Hey guys! Here’s a few pics from the last week or so from The Hill! Please kindly remember that this is not only a grooming bisuness , but mostly a boarding business at this time of year!! Alot of these pictures are not of groomed dogs, some get exit baths before they go home… some just get a very small trim and bath, so everything you see here is not a freshly groomed dog… there are some here and there in here but mostly exit baths and tidy up!

I do not have an openings for boarding for the first two weeks of July, I am completely full until July 15th then I have open rooms! If your planning your vacation please reach out as soon as possible because I have very limited space and I love to keep allllll the babies but i do need a little notice because it fills up very quickly! If you’ve already booked, no fear your on the books!!

As of this past weekend we have finally made a little progress on the addition. I had to have a second electric meter set to power the second doggy hotel and that’s been a major hold up and should’ve been done before summer but so many other things have popped up, anyway…progress is being made and I should never have to turn anyone away again for boarding after the addition is finished we will have tons of rooms 😊 once again thank you to everyone for your bisuness, wether it be boarding or grooming yall will never know how much it means to me to be able to keep your fur children and let them play and have all the fun like they’re on vacation while your on yours! ♥️♥️♥️

And shout out to Carli Cole for being an amazing helper, she has worked her butt off with me this summer making sure everyone is taken care of while also juggling bathing/drying! She is a wonderful young lady that has blown me away with her willingness to work. Shes actually managed to speed my time up. I haven’t lessened my work load but have managed to get done two hours earlier than usual just about every day since she’s been here! I appreciate her so much, if you see her smiling face around here just know she’s been the backbone to this place this summer! Such a wonderful helper all the way around.

Also, If you’ve stayed with us, or groomed with us and have never left a review before head over and leave us a review! The more the better! Thank you guys once again! Enjoy these beautiful babies enjoying their time here ♥️ (yes that first one is my little baby…he’s just a little spoiled!)

Did someone say Microchip Clinic? And Free?
You heard that right we are hosting a free microchip clinic on June 29th from 10 am until gone. This is only for Knox, Whitley and Clay county residents. We have 100 microchips and hope to use every one of them.

It is a first come first, serve basis!

We have had the best group of babies this week! Next week we will have a new group! I love these babies so much and get so attached to caring for them during everyone’s trips and vacations! I love them all as my own and they get treated as my own do! ♥️♥️

Love all my sweet customers, whether it be just a simple bath and blow out or a full groom or a good solid week of playing while being boarded ♥️

❤️Also, Carli Cole has proved to be a natural, she’s saved me the last two weeks for sure, couldn’t have made it without her so a huge thank you to her for showing up everyday and making it happen 😊

♥️I also don’t have any available grooming slots until mid July! So thank you guys again for making this happen for me, I just can’t get over the loving support for my business, yall are the best 😊

❤️At this time I am not taking any new grooming clients. We have so many regulars we stay super super busy! I would like to welcome Carli Cole to my team! You will see this beautiful smiling face around The Hill! Carli has come onto my team as my right hand chick and bather and dryer! Carli is an outgoing, animal loving chick! She fits in just perfectly and is a wonderful addition to my team, I am so thankful to have her!

ALL GROOMING APPOINTMENTS TODAY HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. We are doing all we can to accommodate the evacuees and just waiting to see what happens with this gas line fire. We are currently full but I can make more space if you’ve had to leave your home PLEASE do not leave your dog behind, EVENTHOUGH we are somewhat in the line of fire as well we are not close enough that I couldn’t get everyone out of here if I had to. I just wanted to hop on here and fill everyone in on what’s been going on the last week of my life. At the beginning I truly thought I was just overly exhausted and dehydrated, I pushed as far as I could until I couldn’t anymore and went to the ER in London. Now, normally… I get a bag of fluid in me and I feel like a million bucks the next day. That day they ran two thru me and I knew when I left there that wasn’t my issue this time. I laid and slept for the entire week basically. Just in and out. It’s been like a time warp. With graduation approaching I refused to go back to the hospital because I was afraid they would admit me and I’d miss Chelsey’s graduation. But in the meantime I could not eat, drink, or even smoke a cigarette. I know the cigarette part is a good thing don’t come for me but I’m just saying it’s not unusual for me to smoke a pack and a half a day and I couldn’t stomach one. Well, I made it thru graduation… and David took me straight back to the ER as soon as it was over. They ran several more tests and redone my blood work including a tick panel this time. He went ahead and started me on the tick antibiotic just in case, and I’m here to tell you that has to be the problem because yesterday was the first day I’ve felt halfway alive in well over a week. It’s been the roughest week of my life. And I am so sorry to those of you I’ve neglected to anwser and respond to, I honestly have not even been able to look at my phone for over 5 minutes the entire week. This has definitely been like nothing else I’ve ever dealt with. So thank you to each and everyone that’s reached out checking on me. And a huge thank you to my man and kids for keeping the boarders happy, exercised and cared for. And to everyone who missed an appointment last week or the start of this week i fully intend to get started with rescheduling today or tomorrow. I wasn’t looking to be this down for so long so I truly value your patience and support with me. Thanks again! ♥️

I am so sorry. I hope to be out of this mess and home this evening feeling quite better. Remember if we have a boarding booking it is absolutely still on. I have plenty people who can meet you and get your babies and I will be back to skipping in a couple days. The last several days have just really taken a toll on my body… I’m not sure what’s going on but I have to figure it out. I am so sorry for all of the delays regarding grooming. Roxanne Roberts can help or Kimberly Mathis if your in desperate need of a groomer immediately. I would recommend these two to anyone! But hopefully I’m back and better by the evening. Thank you guys for your patience, it’s been very stessfull for me for sure. ♥️
