It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself on here + we’ve had quite a few people join recently, so how about an introduction:

I’m Maleah Georgen (like ma-leah) 👋🏻 and I own Doodles & Co. Breeding Iowa!

Pictured here, I’m in my usual daily attire: comfy clothes, no makeup, and a hat to cover the usually messy hair underneath! Luckily for me, my coworkers don’t say too much about my daily appearance!🐾🤩

Here are some f u n + random facts about me:
1. I could eat one food for the rest of my life it would be tacos. 🌮
2. When I’m not spending time raising pups, you can find me on the lake/pool side with my favorite dood(le)s + family. 🐾
3. A Crisp Dt. Coke gets the best of my every time. (Bonus points if it’s a McDonald’s Dt. Coke)🥤
4. I’m a chatter. If I’m being honest, I could probably talk to a rock. 9x out of 10, I’m going to FaceTime you or call to chat just because. 😅
5. I’m a self diagnosed perfectionist when it comes to this business (or life in general). I’m typically the hardest person on myself. Spoiler 🚨, I’m working on it.
6. Nature. Nature. Nature. Being outside is where I reset + recharge, and if you add puppies to the mix, I’m all set! 🌿🌳✨
7. I am obsessed with productivity and planning - so checklist are my jam. ✔️
8. I’m a morning person through and through. I love a good morning workout to start my day 🫶🏻
9. I’m a Dunkin’ over Starbucks Coffee girly any day.🧋
10. Book Worm to the bone - I love ending my day cuddled up on the couch with my dood(le)s with a good book. 🤓
11. I’m learning as I go. I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, but I’m getting closer day by day to figuring it the heck out. For now I’m pretty content being a pediatric occupational therapist. 📝
12. My drink of choice: An Expresso Martini (it’s a bit fancy I know, but I’m a coffee lover & this perfectionist runs on caffeine. It’s quite literally the best of both worlds). 🍸

Murphy James 🤝🏽 Nash

It’s a tale as old a time - two boys meant (or maybe forced) to be together by Nash’s momma and his cousin. You see, Nash’s mom and his cousin spent lots of early mornings working out together in Nash’s basement. From the time that Murphy was a young pup and to this day - he always came with to Nash’s house.

It started from the very beginning while little Nash was supposed to be fast asleep upstairs, and somehow in the wee hours of the early mornings, groggy eyes, footy pajamas, and a blanket wrapped around him, he always came down to see Murphy James. Murphy loves Nash, and vise versa. Two best buddies ‘till this very day.

I can still hear his little voice asking me over his moms phone, “Wee-ahh, when are your gunna come over so you can wurkout wiff my mum and I can see muurphy” - how precious. 🥹

It’s extremely important to us that our adult dogs are family raised from the very beginning as well. To be in our breeding program our dogs are constantly put through various situations & tests with individuals of various ages. It’s important to know everything about our adult dogs temperament to be enrolled in our breeding program. This in turn allows us a brief glimpse into what their puppies will offer our Doodles & Co. puppy families. It’s just another way that Doodles & Co. Breeding sets ourselves apart from other breeders.

If you would have told me (a small town Iowan girly) in 2018 that my little business would be sending puppies all over the U.S.A. - I would have laughed, then burst into tears with excitement. 🥹 🙈

We still have a long way to go, but man am I proud of how far we’ve come by sticking to our ✨ CORE ✨ values. It’s my dream to place a Doodles & Co. Breeding puppy in their forever home in all 5️⃣0️⃣ states! To our past, present, and future Doodles & Co. puppy families - THANK YOU. Your support, belief, and wait has been unmatched in maintaining our breeding standards & values. 🫶🏻

I’ll keep dreaming tomorrow, but for now I’m grateful for how far this small town Iowan girly has come! 🤍
