We want to give a GIANT shout out to Nearly Nu Thrift Shop for what they do each and every day. This amazing non-profit has such a positive impact on our community. Their generosity has led to our Tails being able to sleep in comfy blankets and beds.

Not only have they given us a multitude of donations to help our animals, but they are also helping to find lifelong, loving, indoor homes for our rescued Tails.

Nearly Nu is a must stop next time you are in the square of Manheim!

FREE!!!
These lovable little fluff muffins are finally ready to go to their life long loving indoor homes! Orphaned and bottle fed since about 2 weeks old. They are all now 9 weeks old, healthy, happy, and independent! Good with other cats, dogs, and kids! Looking for their forever homes :) Garfield orange male, Runt dark calico female, Miss Piggie lighter calico female.

Blind and abandoned, this is feeding time with our Rae of Sunshine (Moose) Not all rescues are easy, but this girl makes it so worth it. She is our senior, blind dog who survived cancer and ended up losing most of her teeth. She is an absolute survivor!

2021 has definitely been an eventful year at Recovery Tails helping a blind-senior dog with cancer, a one eyed cat, a three legged Yorkie, tube-feeding a cat with liver failure, a deaf white kitty, a kitten born with a deformed hind end while also tending to all the "normal" rescues; helping find families of lost animals and the perfect family for abandoned animals. Did we mention rescuing three chickens, two ducks, and a parakeet. After all the sleepless nights and hard work, the hardest thing was saying good-bye to one of our family members to terminal cancer, our Australian Shepherd, Echo at only 8 years old.

We were contacted about a beautiful Rottweiler in need of a home. Recovery Tails had the opportunity to meet with sweet Bella and agreed to help find her a lifelong, loving, indoor home. If anyone is looking to help save a life, we would like to put you in contact with her rescuer as Bella is in need of an immediate home. We want to give a big SHOUT OUT to Nearly Nu for their generous donation of $300 to help our Tails! They are a local, fellow Manheim non-profit that has been incredibly supportive of our cause. Not only have they made this monetary donation, but they have also supplied us with blankets, towels, and other truly needed donations for all of our Tails! Please consider visiting and shopping at Nearly Nu right off the Manheim Square!

We need your help finding this beautiful sweetheart a lifelong, loving, indoor home! A friend of Recovery Tails reached out to us to help find this girlie a forever home. Our friend has been willing to invite "Mary" into her home as a temporary foster, made sure she received an eccential checkup at Manheim Pike Veterinary Hospital, and reached out to Recovery Tails to find Mary her purrrfect home. Please share and reach out if you have an open spot in your nest for this Tail in need 💕
