We absolutely love working with Meg and Wexford Twilight Bark Network!!

So I get the questions a lot as to why I chose the name Wexford Twilight Bark Network and why my logo is a barking dog?
Cartoons were a huge part of my life growing up and they still are to this day. They are my safe happy place. So it's not a surprise to my close friends and family that I would pick a scene from a Disney movie to name a big part of my life after.
So I hope this helps you all understand a little bit more about me and WTBN 🐾✨️💕

This darling little guy is Miloh, he was neutered with help from our Canine Spay Neuter Assistance Program in Manistee County. We are able to continue this program and our Pit Stop Program thanks to some generous individual donors and a grant from the Mary Dunn Trust. Any Manistee County resident can receive a voucher to help offset the cost of getting your dog or puppy spayed or neutered, there are no income restrictions to receive a voucher. Hey everyone, we have great news to share, Missaukee Humane Society is now accepting our "Pit Stop Program" spay/neuter vouchers at their low-cost spay/neuter clinic! The current cost to spay a female dog is only $130 and to neuter a male is only $110 and if you combine that with a voucher from us it makes the cost super affordable!! And more good news, you DO NOT have to be a resident of Missaukee County to go to their clinic! 12/31/23 FUNDRAISER UPDATE! Today is the LAST DAY to have your donation DOUBLE MATCHED by an anonymous donor! We have received $1,230 in donations as of this morning and our goal is $2,500 by the end of the day. We are still holding out hope that we meet this goal! Donations can be made by going online to our website www.saveabuddyfund.org or by mailing a check to “Save A Buddy Fund”, PO Box 871, Manistee MI 49660. Every donation matters, for example, with the double match, a $25 donation is worth $75, a $100 donation becomes $300 and so on.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we greatly appreciate every donation. Funding will be used for our "Pit Stop Program" which offers spay/neuter assistance for pit/pit mixes in Manistee, Lake, Osceola and Wexford Counties, and our "K9-SNAP", which is for all other breeds/mixed breeds and is currently offered in Manistee County only due to limited funding.

We have great news to share, we have an anonymous donor who will DOUBLE MATCH any and all donations made to the Save A Buddy Fund, up to a match of $2,500 from now until the end of the year!!! This is an amazing, generous offer and we are beyond grateful to our anonymous benefactor!! This means that a $10 donation will be worth $30, a $25 donation will be worth $75 just for some examples. If we can reach $2,500 in donations that will mean a huge $7,500 including the double match!

This is Brandy, helping us to spread the word about our great news. We talk to so many dog owners who can't afford to spay/neuter their pets because the cost just keeps escalating, so we wanted to remind everyone that CSNIP accepts our vouchers! If you have not heard of CSNIP, they are a non-profit clinic that offers low cost spay/neuter as well as regular wellness services. The cost to spay or neuter a puppy/dog is just $125 and this includes everything, there are no surprises!! And combining this low cost with one of our vouchers really makes it affordable! Their clinics are located in Fruitport and Grand Rapids which can be a drive for many people but some people carpool with other pet owners which makes it easier on gas or they take multiple pets at one time. We've also helped dog owners spay/neuter litters of puppies before they ever get adopted out which we love to do!

The Save A Buddy Fund has been BUSY!! Year to date we have already issued 103 K9-SNAP vouchers to Manistee County dog owners and a total of 91 Pit Stop vouchers to pit/pit mix dog owners in Manistee, Lake, Osceola and Wexford Counties! This will probably be a record year for number of vouchers issued. With the cost of spaying/neutering rising there has been an increased demand for assistance!

We have the cutest picture of Harley to share, he is three years and was recently neutered with help from our K9-SNAP (Canine Spay Neuter Assistance Program). His family sent so many adorable pictures, a hilarious video of Harley splashing around in a kiddie pool (all 85 pounds of him!) and even a thank you card in the mail!
