Biggest Mistake I See People Making On The Pole Pattern
This has got to be the biggest mistake I see people making on the pole pattern! You don’t want your horse to be super far away from your poles and jumping away from them you want them to be nice and close and controlled! If you have any questions about your pole pattern leave them in the comments below or feel free to pm me!

These are some ways I like to help prevent colic during these cold weather snaps! Thank you Vetline Equine for an awesome electrolyte I can depend on!

Winter Tips
As winter approaches, (for most it’s already here) PLEASE👏 DONT 👏PUT👏 YOUR 👏HORSE 👏AWAY 👏WET👏 I know it can be frustrating and very time consuming waiting for them to dry, and ideally having a heated area of some sort for them to dry off is best, but not obtainable for most of us unfortunately. What I’ve found works best over the years if they are still wet after their cool down is giving them a rub down with a towel or their cooler, make sure to swap coolers out when they are wet, and brush after, maybe give them a spritz of show sheen as it helps them dry as well, but please have respect for them as a living being and don’t put them away wet. It can have a lot of negative effects and not to mention do you want to be cold and damp sitting around? Please do your research when it comes to your trainers you plan on using as well as if they have multiple horses to work a day in winter they might skimp on drying them completely before blanketing/or putting away (I’ve seen multiple personally who “don’t have time for all of that”)
Super excited to have this girl here! This mare is 4 years old, has been handled but never had any work done with her, yesterday we worked on desensitizing and started the basics of lunging! She was not a fan of having to work yesterday, didn’t understand how to move out onto the circle and would rear and bolt off, This is from today her second time lunging and has already made immense progress!! Super excited to see what her future holds!
Legacy placing 3rd at Racine County Fair
Legacy landing 3rd in the 1D at Caswells Ranch with an 18.2
This mare has made amazing improvements in such a short amount of time! From refusing to lunge, stopping and turning her ass to you when she doesn’t want to work, going bronc under saddle when she didn’t want to do something, pushing through the bridle when you asked her to stop, and trying to flip over when you’d ask her to put her head down or ask her to back under saddle. By no means is she perfect but she is actually letting me TEACH her stuff instead of just trying to get out of doing work! Here is her first time working on vertical flexion at a trot! Don’t mind my shorts 🤦♀️🤣
