He was in a cuddly mood again!

It’s a good and a bad thing that he’s like this. He’ll come up and plop himself partially on me, and LEAN into me, and want me to reciprocate (of course I do!). I’ve had many (MANY) cats over the years and I’ve NEVER felt one as SOFT as him! I call him my black cotton ball! Lol!

So obviously this is a wonderful thing for someone who loves animals, and loves cuddling with animals. However, there is no explaining to him that there are times I just CAN’T. When you work from home a minor distraction can snowball into a lot of time wasted! So since I can’t change him (and I wouldn’t want to), I’m working on changing myself. Gotta improve those work habits!

This girl was timid and shy, but I put on a Thunder Shirt (I carry several sizes), sprayed some pheromone anxiety spray, and gave her gentle, encouraging attention. She traveled quite comfortably, although she still exhibited stress signals (mostly yawning and lip-licking). But she actually ate and drank and that’s always a great sign!!

And I could tell that when her full personality comes out she is going to be quite a character! I couldn’t stop taking pics!! Some cute, many funny. Tonight she’s back with her breeder in South Dakota.

Going to do a ‘short run, starting tonight. Just Minnesota to South Dakota, but about 500 miles, so it will be a long couple of days.

Figaro (in video) will be coming along, of course!

Kai Jai (my van) has been doing a lot of running, but not all over the country this time, but over and over the same streets, again and again and again! DoorDash, of course. So she is doing a Rudolph impersonation to liven things up! So I’m doing my best Santa’s girl impersonation!

I tried taking a selfie with her in the background, but you really couldn’t make out the antlers. So I did separate pics. I really NEVER do selfies, so I hope when I look back on these one day I’ll realize that I really didn’t hurt THAT much, and I really wasn’t THAT tired, and I really didn’t have THAT many wrinkles, and DARN IT, I looked pretty good, too! 😁🤪

I actually enjoy Dashing. It’s not a fortune-maker but it’s a decent income. And I have personal goals to make it more interesting. One is to get as many ADDED tips, like this one, as I can! Since most of the time we never have contact with the customer (we leave it at their door, take a picture, and send the message that it’s delivered) it’s a REAL CHALLENGE! But Kai Jai is helping as we try to be as festive and jolly as possible in this hectic holiday season.

Fi HATES CATS!!! You cannot use Fi on your cat unless you LIE and say it’s a DOG!

If you like cats AT ALL you will boycott Fi with me unless and until they change their system to accept CATS!
