Plush Paws has exciting news. They are adding to the team. Cheryl Miller may be relatively new to the area as she and her husband transferred here in 2018, but she is certainly not new to the industry of dog grooming. She spent 4 years at PetSmart in NY where she trained and learned her craft and then she spent 8 years as the Salon Leader at a Petco location also in NY where she furthered her skills. She loves getting to know her furry clients and find out the various facets of their personalities. One of her favorite aspects of grooming is both working with the pet and the owner. She wants to make sure owners feel confident in caring for their pets between grooming sessions. Cheryl can be found at Plush Paws 4 days a week for your pet grooming need

Just a little update in my grooming world. As of February 3, 2023, I will no longer be grooming at Palmetto Farm Supply. I want to thank all the clients that have come to me in the past 2.5 years and I have enjoyed everyone of you and your pups. Starting February 13th, I will be at Plush Paws in Manning, SC. I will be grooming dogs up to 35 pounds Tuesdays-Fridays. I will be more than happy to keep grooming your pups, if you would like, at Plush Paws. If not, I can recommend a couple of groomers in Sumter. Unfortunately, my co-worker, Leanne, is booked up for a few months at Palmetto Farms, and isn't accepting new clients at the moment. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message me. I will answer any and all of them.

Just a quick update for booking holiday appointments.....Due to an unforeseen medical emergency on Monday, November 14th, I will be cancelling all my scheduled appointments from November 14th thru November 27th, at both Palmetto Farm Supply in Sumter and Plush Paws in Manning. This poor pup was rescued off the road by a savior named Jo and her husband. They trusted me enough to bring her in to get the casted mats off her legs and make her as beautiful as I could. We agreed on the name Frannie.

Good afternoon. Starting on September 20th, 2022, I will be grooming in Manning, SC at Plush Paws on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I will NOT be leaving Palmetto Farm Supply, and will still be grooming. However, my days will now be Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and occasionally a Saturday. So, my schedule will be as follows:

Summer heat is coming. This is just a friendly reminder that double coated dogs do not regulate their body temperature easily if you shave them down. You should never shave a double coated dog unless there is a medical reason. I recommend doing a de-shed on them, as that pulls the undercoat out, and makes it easier to regulate their body temp. It will cut down on the shedding that you see in your home, however it will NOT eliminate it. Same as shaving the dog down. It will NOT get rid of any of the shed, but will leave small, sharp, needlelike pieces all over your floor and furniture. Those pieces get in your skin, and if you have a baby that crawls, it will embed in their tender skin and cause pain. I am accepting dogs up to 50 pounds for the time being, so make your appointment soon. 803 775-1204 x2

Come see me at Palmetto Farm Supply on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday to have you pup groomed. My appointment schedule is as follows for all days: 8:15am, 8:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am and 12:30pm. I am accepting dogs up to 40 pounds. Prices start at $50 for small dogs for a full groom. That includes bath, brush, dry, nails, ears, a**l glands (if requested), and hair cut. There will be an additional charge for fleas, ticks, matting/pelting, and express groom (no kennel). Typically a groom takes me approximately 1.5 hours on a small dog.
