So many emotions this summer. Sadness, losing my old soul and equestrian partner, Percy, suddenly in June. Hope, in finding how much support I have in this community for myself and my vaulting team Mythic Vaulters. And finally joy, thanks to Deirdre Rose Sabo-Frary for letting me meet and take home a gem of a horse, Centenario de Oro (I mostly call him Lil Bro).
It turns out that the light at the end of the tunnel is always held by a loving friend (or many!). ❤️

On Sunday, I lost my dance partner, my best friend, the one that always inspired me to be a better person, a better rider, a better friend.

Perseus, Percy, Haplo to his breeder and first owner, he brought joy to all who met him. He was always brave, calm, and went above and beyond for those who asked. He always gave his peaceful and kind energy away freely and loved his vaulting team and the salads they would make for him every practice. He will be missed by so many, but the memory of his spirit will stay with so many of us for the rest of our lives. Rest in peace, my friend, you leeft us too soon.

Camp is from 8:30-12:30 Mon-Fri June 24-28 and July 22-26. Camp will be 8 kids per week max. for a more personalized experience. $375/week per camper. We have a covered arena, beautiful property and trails, and an air-conditioned building for them to have lunch and cool down! Snacks/popsicles will be provided, BYO lunch.

Vaulting Summer Camp registration is open!

Camp is from 8:30-12:30 Mon-Fri June 24-28 and July 22-26. Camp will be 8 kids per week maximum. $375/week per camper. The campers will learn basic freestyle routines on the horse and practice barrels, horse care and tack, will also do an art project every day. We have a covered arena and an air-conditioned building for them to have lunch and cool down.

How do you all with kids feel about a 1/2 day summer camp (8:30-12:30)? I am planning a few weeks of equestrian vaulting camp this summer, and am feeling out what works for people. 8:30-3:00 outdoors (covered arena or in barn) seems too hot for too long.
