From 15lb pavers and darkness to 60w of light, the journey of the pea shoots continues! We’ve got our first order of pea microgreens from ! Seth will be delivering and will give an introductory class to some 5th graders who will each take a “wee microgreen garden” home with them. We’d like to give a big thank you to everyone out there who’ve supported us again this year! Whether it be purchasing our microgreens, having us tend to your garden or buying one of Betsy’s pottery pieces, we truly appreciate you spending your money with us. We also want to extend our thanks to all the referrals people have given this year. We do next to no advertising but the people within our community pass on our info. Thank you!

We moved to Ohio to get back on track as a family, to be closer to family and help foster community by feeding and teaching those around us. We went all in and then some. It’s been a wonderful journey, full of peaks and troughs. All 3 of us have thrived since we moved to Mansfield and will continue to do so as we meet more and more Ohioans. As we come to a close of our 4th year of business, we’re excited to what lies ahead. Betsy’s project is making progress, classes will be advertised soon! Thank you and for everything you’ve done to get this off the ground!

Our main focuses with plants will be to expand bringing Microgreens to the Masses, by either growing them for you, or teaching you how to grow your own. We will begin supplying our first school district next month and are working on a grant proposal to install microgreen grow spaces in schools, run by trained school staff and students, to directly supply the cafeterias! Many schools have things like greenhouses/high tunnels, but they’re not being utilised during the peak months of summer. Our indoor gardens will produce 40+lbs a week! If we are successful in our proposal, we will be looking for schools to partner with!

Betsy and I were made to feel very welcome on newest episode of What’s Up Wednesdays filmed at ! We’re currently working towards supplying schools with our tasty, healthy greens! Not only are they so good for growing bodies, but the longevity of pea and sunflower shoots, allows school meal programs to be able to utilise them in various meals over an extended period of time!
