When she left him I knew something was wrong. But I needed him to breathe, to be ok. I picked him up, broke the sack, rubbed him with a towel, suctioned his nose& mouth, & then he was breathing! I bottle fed him every two hours for the next few weeks. I held my breath when everyone else walked first, opened their eyes first. He was different, but determined. A boy named Sue- he needed A STRONG name to match his spirit.He brought more joy, laughter, & comfort in his short life than I'll ever be able to express. He snuggled better than any dog will ever be able to.He was a menace! The things he got into!! Getting stuck in reverse, the excitement in his run, the facial expressions with the rapid head turning- because he just couldn't figure it all out. He went camping in Colorado, rode in a gondola, saw Pikes peak, sat around a campfire on a riding trip, got to swim in ponds/creeks/pools/muddy puddles, and played as hard as he could all the time. He didn't have a long life, but man it was a great one. That's all we had promised him 🥰If you see me around, I'm not ok. Don't ask- I'll just cry. Just know I'll be ok& I'm better for getting to love that amazing spirit for as long as he decided to stay with us. You're a good boy Sue, Sue. It's ok bubba. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
