If you aren't playing with Rev. Tibodeaux the way he likes, he will just take his toy and play by himself.
It's a great day for a puppy pool party!

Good morning from Red!! She is in the building today! If you would like to meet her, ask and someone will gladly bring her out to you.
Here is a video of Red playing with Marianne this morning.
Meet Kubrick! Every time I look at this dog, I become more obsessed with him. He came in with massive hair loss, and after being treated by the vet, it's growing back.
He's so gentle but doesn't mind getting rowdy. He wants to be right with you. He takes treats gently. He isn't horrible on the leash. I'm not sure why he's still here, but we say that about a lot of dogs.
This isn't right. We are currently at 118 dogs. We had 10 come in yesterday.
This isn't fair to the dogs that are here. It's not fair to the staff or volunteers. There are too many dogs and not enough minutes in our hours. These dogs are confined to their cages for almost 24 hours a day. This is not a life for them.
Please, keep your dogs confined. Please come and get your dog if it's here.
We can't keep going at this pace. We can't keep letting the dogs exist like this, I say exist because this is not a life for them. We just can't.
Puppy shenanigans in the morning. The biggest (and most clumsy) is Gomer. He holds the record for most face plants. We have Moon and Eclipse, who are the mid-size two, and they have zero qualms about running into your shins. Cove is the smallest and toughest of the 4. He also picks on Gomer the most.
*UPDATE: Cove was put in time out for being an adorable menace.

When you encounter a dog as perfect as Shasta, you have to share chips.
Quill and Stuart have been sharing a room together, and today, we have them up front with us.
Our number for comfortably housing dogs is 70. We are currently at 117 dogs. We have zero space, and we've had several calls this morning about more stray dogs. Not to mention the 5 or more calls a day about taking dogs.
We have to take stray dogs. And more come every day and not enough are leaving. Please think about that when you decide not to come and get your dogs. Every single dog in this shelter had an owner at one time.
Denver loves to play ball and run outside.
