Bruno is a 3-5 year old, male, mixed breed dog that was rescued in Brazoria County, TX, in December 2024. He weighs roughly 90 pounds. He is loving, playful, highly intelligent, and very trainable. He is looking for a foster or a forever home. His photos and videos show the love and playfulness that he possesses, in spite of apparently living on his own for a while. He needs a home where he can live indoors with his family, and have fenced outdoor access for playtime. Because of his size, he is best suited for a home with family members in their teens or older. Continued love and patience with Bruno will be rewarded with love, loyalty, and some great games of fetch. Marlo is so thankful to have been pulled from the streets. She is out of quarantine with her temp foster and is now feeling better and seeing that other dogs and cats are nice and won’t attack her.

Our newest intake “Big Boy”

Big Boy was found and picked up roaming the streets in Bellaire (Houston area) before the snow storm. No one has stepped forward claiming him so I asked if his finder was willing to foster for us and she said yes!
Big boy will see the vet next week and will get scheduled for neuter then he will be available for adoption!

🐾💚WE NEED FOSTERS💚🐾

🆘🆘🆘In order for us to continue pulling and helping dogs in need, we will need fosters to step up and open their home so we can work on getting these babies adopted! Our immediate need for fosters are below!

🩷Marlo- our sweet German Shepherd girl pulled from the streets of Cleveland just before the snow. Her current foster is a short term medical foster and Marlo will be needing a more long term foster or foster-to-adopter within the next few weeks. Estimated 5-8 months old

💚🐾Bonded pair of Blood Hounds, estimated to be between 7-8 years old. Have been through a lot and are currently with a Good Samaritan that took them in. They need a foster or adopter.

❤️‍🩹We have an Anatolian Shepherd that is still currently in the process of being trapped and will need a foster that can provide her with a quiet space to decompress, loving home, get her to appointments and let her learn to dog.

💛Rain Boots the husky, he was found as a stray in Lago Mar by a Good Samaritan, but they cannot keep him. He needs a loving foster or foster-to-adopter that can provide him with a roof over his head while he is vetted/neutered and networked for an adopter.

Meet our newest rescue, Marlo.

This sweet little girl has lived a rough life on the streets of Cleveland. In her short time on this earth she has endured nothing but pain and suffering. 4 pretty nasty old bite wounds, Demodex mange, covered in fleas, high heartworm +.
Her amazing foster Lisa Farmer got her to the vet in the Knick of time before the weekend hit. She got the debris cleared from her wounds, skin scrape, vaccines, and HW test. We are starting her on her mange treatment immediately and in a few weeks she will start her slow kill heart worm treatment.
No more suffering for this girl, so glad we got her before the freeze.

and thank you to Rosas Reyna for all you do out there feeding and networking these babies.

Hello everyone! My name is Destiny. I am a new member of the Big Paws Foster K9 team. I wanted to come on here and introduce myself. I am 32 years old and have been a stay at home mom to my daughter for the last 4 years. They have been the best years of my life! Once she starts school this year I plan on focusing my time towards the dogs of our community whether that means alot more volunteering or finding a job where I can be hands on with them or help in some way. I truly feel passionate about helping the dogs in and around our community. I love all animals and helping them in any way is something that brings me so much happiness. I have a GSP named Lilly who’s 8 and other than my daughter and husband she’s my whole world. What Julie has done with this foster house is remarkable. It takes such a beautiful heart to put so much time, money, tears and love into something as big as this. I wish everyone was as passionate about dogs as Julie! Decompression time and learning that not all humans are bad.I’m guesstimating her to be around 6 months old.She still will not walk on a leash only bucks and tries to eat the leash until you pet hers. Won’t be long and she will stop trying to get away and realize she is safe and loved. Update on Lago Mar Pup. Her trap video. Welp the photos of her running free she looked massive for some reason… but she isn’t a he and is a very young girl. She seems feral, but we made a little progress today. Decompressing well in her crate with her new baby stuffy I brought her today. We got a slip lead, collar and second leash on her but she won’t walk on a leash. Was able to pick her up and take her outside, loves the pets from the scary humans but not ready to let go and trust yet. She had her tight lips and ears back to her head. When I rubbed her side she rolled over for a belly rub. She smelled horribly so we got her in the bath. And got her cleaned up. She is showing signs of a UTI so she will start antibiotics tomorrow. Her new foster family has been amazing! So excited to watch her grow and change into a strong confident girl! Houston TX Can anyone temp foster this boy for about 1 month? We had eyes on him until the last big storm, he was spotted again but now has a wound on his side and needs care fast. We have rescue backing but NEED a temp foster till we can move him somewhere more permanent.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH TO OUR AMAZING DONORS!!!! We reached our goal for the interior wall cinderblocks and mortar! I will be ordering tomorrow!! The saw was dropped off last night by Wes Eisenman who continues to come through for us! if you need ANY concrete work, land clearing etc he is your guy! He's done an amazing job for us. Last bits needed are 🩷$3,020🩷 3- 5 gallon concrete sealant $750 mini split A/C- heating unit $875 1 more load of dirt $95 3 interior gate/doors $700 4- doggy doors $600 Lighting/electrical- unsure (may have electrical covered) private yard fencing(we have some parts but will reassess what is needed when we get to that point Julie Nash

The rafters/trusses will be complete by the end of next week! We already have the sheathing, underlayment and shingles as well as what is needed to close up the front and back peaks. During that time I will start building out the interior walls, I have 110 cinderblocks and 9 bags of mortar.. 💥WE NEED 280 more blocks and 18 bags of mortar.
