Just found and purchased a couple of great photos of my 7yo stud, Amore’ Tommy Two Tone ASPC/AMHR/AMHA, Res National Champ and HOF, from a show last spring. I love this tiny little guy who measured 31.25” at the show.

Picking up a couple Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) pups from a friend in Tulsa, OK. They are 1/2 Great Pyrenees, 1/4 Anatolian Shepherd, 1/4 Boxer. Great personalities. 12 and 14 weeks old. Pic is of one male with ideal temperament for guardian. Let me know if you are interested and I’ll connect you with the breeder or drop one off on my way back to Michigan.

Amore’ Tommy Two Tone, 32” (ASPC/AMHR/AMHA) unofficially achieved his Hall of Fame (HOF) status in halter last weekend as a 6yo stallion at just his 8th show! In the process Tony now has over 80 HOF points with 10 Grand Championships, a Supreme Champion award, and holds the titles of 2022 AMHR Reserve National Champion 30-32” as well as 2023 All-Star leader in both the Senior Stallion 30-32” and the Senior Champion Under 34” categories!!

I can’t thank Janet King enough for selling him to me as a weanling and Janice Silvio for selecting both his sire and dam for her breeding program. I remember meeting Janice at a Bluewater Miniature Horse Club Show in 2009 while she was leading my favorite stallion of all-time and Tony’s sire, D&S Peeping Tom out of the ring. And so began my love for that bloodline, shetland minis, and triple registered ponies!

Tony may still make it out to a few shows in the future, but he will now spend most of his time as the foundation of my ASPC/AMHR/AMHA breeding program 🙂 Keep an eye out for his foals in the showring!!

Great last show of the year! All three that I took placed very well with tough competition.

Amore’ Tommy Two Tone took Champion 30-32” senior stallion, Senior Champion, Grand Champion Stallion, Under, measuring just 31.25”

Cobblecreeks Guns N Roses took Champion 2yo stallion 33-37” and Reserve Junior Stallion, measuring 33.75”

Shelterwood Farm’s Red Hot Polka Dot took Champion Western Stock Mare, Senior Champion Western Stock Mare, and Reserve Grand Champion Westers stock Mare, Under measuring JUST 30”!

Congrats to Charlotte Mitchell and her husband, Bill, on their purchase of Shelterwood Farm’s Red Hot Polka Dot, aka “Maggie”! Maggie went Reserve Grand Champion Western stock mare, at New Castle this weekend with some really great competition!! Couldn’t be more happy with her in this home and for her future.

My junior stallion, Cobblecreek’s Guns N Roses (“Axl”), settled his first couple of mares this summer. I pulled him in to the barn and getting him fitted up. Still needs a bit more muscle, but not too shabby given that he was running with mares. Im considering taking him to a show next month. He will be three next year and I might bring him out for a few more shows next summer.

Working on my summer list of minis/ponies that would like to have a new adventure. Some need new pics that I’ll post as Im able:

1)Shelterwood Farms Supreme Beauty Queen, deepbay yearling filly, ASPC/AMHR, will mature around 37.5 AMHR, also Foundation sealed. Will make a nice AMHR over or ASPC Foundation show mare.

2)Shelterwood Farms U Bet UR Assets, buckskin yearling stallion, ASPC/AMHR looks to mature 33-33.5. He is not dun but has primitive markings including a dorsal stripe and leg bars. Beautiful boy with a great head and friendly disposition. He will hardship to AMHA at 3yo. Will make a nice western stock halter and country driver. He also looks just like a mini fjord- imagine this gorgeous boy with his conformation and color in a Draft class! also Foundation sealed.

3)Bay pinto yearling ASPC/AMHR c**t, looks to mature around 34” and is eligible for hardship progeny to AMHA. He is a very nice mover and will make a VERY competitive roadster, country, or pleasure driving horse.

4)SOLD Shelterwood Farms Red Hot Polka Dot, Red Pinto 31.5”, 6 yo AMHR only mare.She has had one foal and will make a nice broodmare, or halter and performance horse. She has a natural showy attitude, highset long neck, pretty head and huge hip.

Last foal of the year is a pretty silver bay pinto filly out of STC’s Twilight Bella (“Bella”) and by From the Heart Right on the Money (“Money”). ASPC/AMHR She is just a day old in these photos. I really like this filly and think she will be out showing next year as an AMHR under yearling. 4 for 4 fillies this year 🙂 Excited about retaining some of these under fillies for my triple registered program.

Getting Tony ready for my last show of the summer. Hoping for a good show and maybe wrap up his HOF!

Update: Tony took Champion Senior Stallion under 3 of 4 judges, then wen’t on to one Grand Champion and two Reserve Grand Champion AMHR Under Stallion titles under tough competition at the show in New Castle today. If my math is correct, after today he needs just 5 more points to finish up his halter Hall of Fame.

Shelterwood Farm Dancer’s Corona and From The Heart Right on the Money had pretty, exotic headed black pinto filly ASPC/AMHR with a star/blaze and four white socks. This one is gonna be pretty cool. I’ll get updated pics in the coming weeks.

I had a bay filly double header Tuesday starting with a tiny filly out of Caldwell’s Baby doll. This filly is double bred Grahams Keystone Classic and looking to mature under 34”. Thanks Monica Millstead for foaling her out and breeding to your stud. And next is Irish Hills American Beauty and her filly by From the Heart Right On the Money. This one looks to mature 34-35”. This black c**t was a couple weeks early but such a lively little dude. He also wins the coolest ears award. They are so hooky that he looks like he has little devil horns- hopefully not a sign of whats to come 😝 He is by From The Hearts Right on the Money and Our Farms Black Pearl. He is ASPC/AMHR and will mature at 34”.

I’m excited to announce the birth of Shelterwood’s Supreme Beauty Queen. She is a 2022 ASPC sweepstakes entry at Congress. “Queen B” is a rich blood bay color with the tiniest little head. She is sired by Leeana Hackworth’s champion stud, Green Creek Supreme King and out of Irish Hills American Beauty. Pics of sire and dam are included.

I’m looking forward to 7 foals this spring! First up is Pura Vidas Dainty Dancer by Graham ASPC/AMHR (36”), who’s first foal is a 3X National Champion in halter, Country Driving, and Roadster. She is at 310 days and looking like she might go 3 more weeks. She is bred to Amore Tommy Two Tone (“Tony”) an ASPC/AMHR 33” 5yr old son of D&S Peeping Tom who is in driving training with Snowberry Farm for 2022! Tony is homozygous for pinto so I’m expecting a bay or black pinto foal with socks and star 😃

SOLD! These two ASPC/AMHR weanling c**ts are maturing very nicely! I’m offering them both reasonably at this time to make some room for spring foaling season. Although they are offered, I can’t wait to see how these boys clip up next spring. They both will be impressive halter and driving horses.
Both have great conformation, pedigree and movement. Gorgeous heads on both. Black and white c**t will hardship AMHA at 5 or possibly progeny after his dam hardships in 2022. Red and white (pic in comments)is very fine b***d, and lots of hock action. He’ll mature closer to 36”.
