Unlike puppies (who can often develop littermate syndrome), it is recommended & encouraged to adopt kittens in pairs. Besides all the logical reasons to have two kittens, it’s far more entertaining and you get the added benefit of saving TWO lives!!

Congratulations to the Volunteer of the Week Megan Hughes and Forgotten Felines Of The Florida Keys!

"Megan has been volunteering for over seven years, taking in kittens to foster and see them through to adoption. She has even turned her personal home into a rescue location. After Hurricane Irma, she has been the main volunteer in Marathon to TNR (trap, fix, release) homeless cats. The cats of the Middle Keys have their chance for a better life thanks in part to Megan."
