The Rigger's Wife The Rigger’s Wife specializes in marine-inspired dog leashes, collars and other accessories. Our dog leashes are beautiful, durable, and weather resistant.

Our custom products are handmade with thought, love, and attention to detail put into every piece. The Rigger’s Wife is a Marblehead based business dedicated to properly outfitting your coastal canine. Each leash is made in Marblehead using marine grade hardware and the same marine rope used by sailors for their halyards and sheets. Each leash is hand-spliced and then "whipped" to withstand the pu

ll of even the most enthusiastic dog. A stainless steel ring is added to the handle of the leash to clip your keys, p**p bags, or whatever you'd like, and finished with a beautiful Turk’s head knot.

CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION WEATHER UPDATE

We are excited to have you all join us at the 2024 Champagne Festival! Currently, we are planning to hold the Champagne Reception as scheduled (rain or shine), but Mother Nature is deciding what role she will play, and we are keeping a close eye on Sunday’s forecast. Town Officials are in contact with NOAA, and we will rely on NOAA to make the final determination if we need to cancel the Champagne Reception due to thunder and lightning.

As always, there will be a large tent erected on Fort Sewall with drop-down sides to keep out any wind-driven rain. In the event the Champagne Reception is cancelled due to thunder and lightning, we will contact our guests by email no later than 1:00 p.m. on June 30, 2024. We will also be posting any updates at marbleheadfestival.org, as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Additionally, to add some fun to the uncertainty, we will add an additional prize for the most creative weather footwear. Think rain boots with a touch of flair or umbrellas with a personality! Stay tuned for more details!

I am de-lighted that this "Old Duffer" is now part of my world! I fell in love with this crab when my wonderful friend and amazing artist Kristen Nyberg took a photo of him on Preston Beach. And I was even more delighted when Kristen decided to paint him!

And to make this even more special my Dad's birthday is today which makes his astrological sign the crab. And I do love my Dad.
