What a great weekend we had. These girls are a joy to work with ❤️. They had some fabulous rides and their teamwork is always a blue ribbon in my book. We enjoyed having Andy be a part of our team this weekend … he is welcome any time 😊. Thank you Linda and Greca for coming out on Saturday and cheering us on…that’s what makes our barn so special 💕

Nice first show of the 2024 season. Missing a few riders form our picture. Megan got a flat tire on the way back to the barn and Kelsey stayed for day two. Looking forward to Ashley and Madison returning from college in the next few weeks … then all the girls will be back together 💕

A young rider was lunging a horse when an old rider came close. After having observed him, the old man asked the boy: "Do you want to know the secret to communicate with your horse?" And the boy answered "Yes."

So the old man closed his own hand into a fist and said to him: "If you can open my fist you will learn the secret of communication."

The boy used his strength in every way possible by pinching, hitting, pulling, pushing...but he just couldn't open the hand. Finally, in frustration, he told the old man: "I can't open it, but please tell me the secret to communicate with my horse." With peace and calm the old man answered: "You could have simply asked me to do it."

Practice Day at WEC went great. The horses and riders had a good time and had a chance to get off the farm and do what they love … a bonus is that Lily jumped EVERYTHING 🤩 Came home and had Andy work with Stetson … that went well too 😊 It was a good day ❤️
