When we change and start listening and then having a two way conversation instead of a one way conversation, the horse says thank you in softness you have never felt or seen before. They are not naturally defiant animals. They are limbic. They suffer anxiety, grief, depression and PTSD just like we do.
"Limbic System and Behavior
"Limbic" refers to the limbic system, a complex network of brain structures deep in the forebrain that governs emotions, memories, and behavior. Key parts include the amygdala (emotions) and the hippocampus (memory), and it plays a crucial role in motivation, learning, and linking physical and emotional well-being.
Functions of the limbic system
Emotions and behavior: It processes and manages emotions, behaviors, and motivations.
Memory: It is involved in the formation of long-term memory and has strong connections to the sense of smell.
Autonomic functions: It helps manage autonomic functions like heart rate and blood pressure.
Motivation: It connects to our drives and can be associated with motivation.
