Arf-Anage Dog Rescue We are a dog rescue committed to finding homes for all breeds. We specialize in moms and puppies, owner surrenders, and family dogs in the shelters.

We engage in the last litter program. We actively educate the public about the importance of altering. We specialize Moms and Pups and Puppies from owner surrender and the shelters. Litters of pups that were "accidental" or the last of a litter that they "couldn't get rid of." Please do not buy from backyard breeders! Adopt don't shop! Our Motto is "NO MOM LEFT BEHIND"

We provide all basic veterinary care including spay/neuter prior to adoption. We make every effort to find perfect homes and require a home inspection before adoption. We will ALWAYS take a dog back if it doesn't work out with their adoptive family. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 5 days after the adoption. We also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter for owned pets.

🐾 Meet Powder 🐾
Powder is a 5-month-old mini Aussie mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Though his start in life was difficult, he has grown into a confident, affectionate, and well-socialized pup who is ready for a forever family.
Powder is believed to be a double merle (lethal white) and is deaf, but he does beautifully with visual cues, consistency, and routine. He is smart, observant, and very people-focused.
He has been raised around children, cats, other dogs, and farm animals, and does well with all of them. Powder is kennel trained and typically only vocalizes when he needs something, such as going potty. At home, he is a huge cuddle bug who loves being close to his people and forming deep bonds.
Powder would do best with a loving, patient family willing to continue positive training and provide structure and reassurance. Experience with deaf dogs is helpful but not required—just a commitment to learning and loving him for who he is.

💚 Those EYES. That HEART. That PUPPY. MEET FOREST. 💚

Meet this absolutely precious 4-month-old boy — and trust us, he’s impossible to scroll past, especially with those stunning green eyes that stop you in your tracks.
Forest may be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and becomes the sweetest little shadow. He loves being close to his person and sleeps under the blankets all night, curled into a cozy little ball right by your side. 💤
For a puppy, he’s wonderfully quiet and is doing great with pottying outside. Forest does fantastic in the car, gets along great with other dogs and cats, and is very food motivated, making training fun and rewarding. 🍖
He’s tall for his age and has that playful puppy confidence — yes, he thinks he can jump on everything 😄 — but when playtime is over, he just wants to cuddle up and feel safe.

❗️❗️HELP FREEZING NEWBORN PUPS❗️❗️

A mom gave birth on the reservation yesterday. 11 puppies but two died so 9 total now. They were out in the cold. The police department has them but they will be in outside runs in the cold 😭 Can any rescue take? My rescue is full. We would need a very committed foster to take. Mom was found with a pack of dogs so seems dog friendly as most reservation dogs are but obviously with new babies would need to be kept separate from other dogs when with her babies. We will donate to any reputable rescue that can take them. I can also transport them.

Maverick is a 14-month-old, one-of-a-kind Goldendoodle with a joyful spirit and a heart full of love. This medium-sized, handsome guy is the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy cuddles.
He’s curious about everything — from watching birds and planes overhead to calmly cruising past a whole herd of deer on his morning walk like it was no big deal. True doodle fashion: one minute he’s zooming around the yard, the next he’s curled up right by his human’s side. 😍
Maverick is a smart boy! He’s leash trained, potty trained, sits on command, and knows exactly where his “home base” is. He also loves car and truck rides, making him an excellent adventure co-pilot.
Best of all, Maverick is kid-friendly and dog-friendly. He loves to play with his 3-year-old foster dog sibling and does great with little humans too.
Maverick is ready to meet his fur-ever family — one that will laugh with him, adventure with him, and soak up all the love he has to give. 💛🐶

It is raining/snowing puppies up North!

There were 2 litters (17 puppies) dropped off at a shelter up north, and a sister rescue reached out for help. We said yes—now we need our village to step up. 💕

- Litter of six 6-week-old puppies (3 females and 3 males)
- Litter of eleven 5-week old puppies (we don’t know the mix yet)

The puppies can be placed in pairs or as sets of three/four/etc.
✨ We provide everything — supplies, vet care, and full support.
🏡 You provide a safe place and lots of love.

If you can open your home, even temporarily, please reach out ASAP. These babies are counting on us.

Misty and Christie are two sweet 8-week-old girls, possibly an Aussie/Pyrenees mix, and they’ve come such a long way already! These precious pups entered rescue as bottle babies at just 4 weeks old and have absolutely blossomed with love and care. Now, they’re full of charm, playful puppy energy, and endless affection.

Watching these girls grow is sure to be both entertaining and heartwarming. They’re currently working on potty training and kennel training and are eager to continue learning with their future families. Misty and Christie are ready to find loving homes where they can grow up, explore the world, and shower their people with puppy kisses.

We orient them into a foster home environment and begin potty training and socialization. We find them great forever homes and in case it doesn't work out, we take the dogs back and find them another loving home. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 72 hours after the adoption. We also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter for owned pets.
