We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our company.

Job Description:
As a Production Technician at BlackBox Cages, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing process, responsible for various tasks ranging from operating CNC machines to building enclosures and managing inventory.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, experienced in building, comfortable with power and hand tools, and capable of adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:
•Operate CNC machines to fabricate components for our products.
•Construct enclosures and other products according to specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy.
•Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including packing pallets and preparing shipments.
•Flat pack enclosures for efficient storage and transport.
•Manage inventory in the warehouse, maintaining accurate records and ensuring adequate stock levels.
•Utilize CNC machines to cut cardboard shipping boxes to the required dimensions.

Requirements:
•Must be able to lift and carry 75-100lbs.
•Meticulous attention to detail.
•Experience with building or construction projects.
•Comfortable using power tools and hand tools.
•Familiarity with CNC machines preferred but not required.
•Ability to adapt to on-the-fly job duties and prioritize tasks effectively.
•Willingness to learn and be trained in various aspects of the manufacturing process.
•Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Diego has always been one who has escaped his enclosure no matter what we do to it. Here he is on top of the rhino cage determined to make triends lol. Yes, I said make triends. He has been with the rhino iguanas and all have been fine.

I have always had an infatuation with reptiles thanks to my god mother, Robyn, as well as living in south Florida its hard not to! When I was able to own my very first bearded dragon i was ecstatic! Long after, meeting my wife who was terrified of snakes, now owns 6 along with our amazing Iguanas and Aldabra Tortoises. We both have come a long way and continue to share our story with everyone as well as help others understand reptiles and over come their fear just as my wife did.
