Wheatens of Georgia

Wheatens of Georgia Our beautiful girl Charlee is retired but we still love hearing from our puppies out in the world! I am a natural teacher with extensive animal -pet experience.

I provide home visits for any pet within a 5 mile radius (or more under certain circumstances). If your pet is best at home with someone, overnight service is occasionally offered as well. Now there is another GREAT option!- if you'd like to take your dog to a HOME instead of a Kennel, please visit our page on DogVacay. As for US, we Provide A Safe, Loving, & Engaging FAMILY Environment for furry

family member(s) while you are away. I started fostering sick, elderly, injured, and just overcrowded dogs and cats from Nashville's Humane Shelter in high school. I worked through college at local vets and at the Auburn University vet school. After earning my Bachelor's in Zoology, I decided to get my Masters in Science Education. After a few years of teaching, I am now staying home with my children :). I have been a professional trainer and/or socializer, and have attended training classes and have lots of practical and academic experience with animals (all types- dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, rodents, fish, amphibians, horses, etc). I am self-employed tutor, stay at home mom of three smart and loving daughters and a small dog and 2 well-adapted dog smart cats (and a full suite they can stay in if there are cat-chasing dogs around). Your pet is welcome here where we will make him or/and her feel comfortable. This can benefit you and your pet for the rest of his/her life. I prefer animals who are adapted to families to be inside my home, but we often experience shy dogs come out of their shells and adapt to family and pet pals quicker here than parents thought possible! I am experienced with keeping careful records, administering medicine, injections, and following particular specific diets. You will KNOW your dog is having a great time! I love photography and I will be aiming to take a special shot of your beloved family member while under my care. There are four people beds available to share, and dog beds around too.

*if you believe your family member would be most comfortable in a crate at certain times and you don't want to haul one, there is a good chance we have one we can set up for your pet(s). :)

**Special discount rate for Rescue Organizations (currently homeless or fostered pets) and 3 or more pets and 2 pets for over 4 nights. **Holiday periods will have a surcharge and the discounts are not applicable because unfortunately, I have to turn away other clients during this time. Thank you for looking here.
