We’re so bummed that we won’t be able to offer any rides this coming weekend either because this weather is just not cooperating. However, we have tentatively planned to be available Friday, April 8 and Sunday, April 10. I’ve heard from a reliable source that the Easter bunny might be hopping around town then too. 🐇

Yes!!! We are so excited to announce that we are going to be in Marshall (weather permitting) on Saturday, March 26 to offer horse-drawn carriage rides. Reservations are not required unless you want a private ride or a guided tour (e.g. Historic or Ghost). This will be our first excursion of the year, and we look forward to seeing you out and about.

I want to give a shout out to one of my new friends, Jessica at Noteworthy Invitations in Richland, MI. I wanted to take a moment to let you all know about some new tours that we are planning for you this year. We are getting excited for warmer weather, so we can get back out there.

The first one that I want to highlight today is our Story Time Tour. This tour will start in June and go through August on Saturdays and Sundays. The pick up location will be at the Marshall District Library ( off Green St ).

This is the carriage we will be using for that tour, which can hold up to 6 adults comfortably and may be able to accommodate up to 6 children with 3 adults depending on the size of the youngsters.

Each week there will be a different featured story that our storyteller will read out loud for a minimum hour ride around town. There will also be an activity of some kind for the families at the end of the tour that will relate somehow to each story.

Reservations will not be necessary but are encouraged and recommended to be sure that a spot is reserved for your group during the time that you would like. Our phone is 269.781.8818. Please leave a message to save your space for your preferred date, and our receptionist will return your call to confirm your spot and provide pricing details.

Also, please feel free to comment here with suggestions for stories that you would like us to consider featuring on these tours. One that I know we will do is Charlotte’s Web for fair week ( Aug 14 & Aug 20 ). Another one that we will definitely offer will be The House With A Clock In Its Walls.

We can’t wait to get these tours going, and we hope you will enjoy them. We will also be offering a frequent story time savings punch card for these tours, so you can save more on each subsequent tour that you join.

Just wanted to take a quick second to let everyone know that we are open for taking reservations for carriage rides ( and booking for weddings and private rides/events ), but the horses won’t be ready to pull with the new drivers until St. Patrick’s Day. ☘️ We are planning a soft launch of being available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please call 269.781.8818 to get on our calendar. The March special will be buy-one, get one ( BOGO ) for Marshall residents to show our appreciation for your continued support over the last 10 years. Just wanted to post a quick update today to let everyone know that we are having a blast getting to know Sam. Quazar, and Memphis. They have wonderful personalities and are all so different. We have a bunch of pictures to post soon ( this weekend, I promise ) of all of their funny shenanigans. Like, why are they throwing hay all over the place every night? They just wanna see us clean it up every morning? Lol 😂

*Urgent-Please be on the look out for our carriage when driving this holiday season. We had a friend who was in a pretty serious accident last night on her horse and carriage. A gentleman in a van ran into her and destroyed her carriage and left her and her horse hurt. We are only out really 2 months if the year, so please be patient and kind and realize we are here for your enjoyment not to be a hindrance.
