I owe you all an update on why my shop has been closed way beyond the planned time frame. It has finally been determined that my body has been devastated by a bad case of covid in February of 2020 from a cruise we had been on. I had never heard of covid at that time and my husband and I ended up very sick. I thought the extent of my battle with it was the scarred lung from pneumonia. But sadly, I have continued to have more and more issues crop up. I started losing my eyesight a few weeks ago. I need bright sunlight to see clearly (still not very clear but at least can see when outside). Indoors, lights are just not bright enough and it appears dusk or very dim. Colors are not as they appear to be as purples look gray etc.
I have had stomach issues and am having a scope done on July 11th then major abdominal surgery late this year if it can be postponed a few months. I have been watching my grandkids while school is out and do not wish to miss these days. I have such trouble working without a little help in seeing my thread and fabric colors that it has slowed me way down and made it almost impossible to work as I just cannot see well. My sight is about 30% gone and what is left is very dark and cloudy. An MRI showed abnormal results and I have been referred to Iowa City to the university specialists. I can't get in there until mid September to even get testing. My legs have become very weak and muscles very sore. All due to the lasting effects of covid. Please take vaccines seriously. I was told had I not been getting regular updated vaccines that I am at great risk when or if I get covid the next time. I do want to continue to work on your orders and I promise the quality of my work will be what you have become used to over the years. Please send me a convo on ETSY through my shop to discuss orders for the time being. I can't open my shop at this time as too many orders will come in that I can't handle! I want to concentrate on your orders! You are my customers who have stuck by me through all this. Please contact me but remeber that I am slow right now- please no rush orders especially in amongst these surgeries and doctors visits. Don't hesitate though- I have bills piling up :)

One more new set done. I am moving very slow but at least doing a little! This pup can be made in any colors to resemble a dog of this body type. This is a Goldendoodle look.

Well, I managed to get 2 new sets done. It took awhile! This is a new design that I will be adding to my shop.

I am so sorry. I am really sure someone hates me and wants to just keep heaping crap on me, but now I have covid, and it's kicking my butt. I am going to disappoint those of you that needed to order this month. I am heartbroken. I can't get out of bed, and tomorrow is my 25th wedding anniversary. Poor me and all my special pup's I am letting down. I am assuming to be OK in 10 days? Maybe there are a few that can make it yet by 1st of June or so? Fingers crossed...

I am so sorry. I planned on opening by now but had an accident. I tried cutting my thumb off :( ( had an accident with a new kitchen knife I bought myself and was taking it out of some not very secure packaging).
Well, I am healing slowly, and it will be OK but unfortunately, I need just a bit more time now. I will be doing a couple of fun friendly, out of the box posts in the next day, though. Might as well just kick back and get to know eachother better while I truly have some down time for a day or two now. Later! Have a great day

My shop is closed, however, I am still working! I wanted you all to see the new designs and hope you like them! These are now listed in my shop and ready for purchase once I open back up approximately May 3rd or 4th. As promised, when I open, I will be working on new designs. These will be offered for the promotional rate of twenty dollars like usual so that I can produce one of each new design for a listing photo. So- be sure and watch closely if interested!

My shop is open for orders that you need in the next 8 weeks. Please order asap. I will be closing for vacation in a couple of weeks and will need to remain closed for approx. 3 weeks at that time. NOTICE OF A FEW BRIEF VACATIONS OF MY SHOP- I am so sorry but I am getting behind on so many things that must be done soon such as my tax returns! We have a couple of brief vacations planned in the next few weeks also and I like to be as caught up as I can before I leave town so I will be taking a few days here and there to shut down. The 1st time closed will likely be sometime this weekend. If you have anything you will need in the next 6 weeks then please order that tomorrow and be sure and put the need by date on the order. This closing will be a few days, 7 days at most. The next closing will be more lengthy and will be around April 10th and will be for the rest of April. I will re-open around May 2nd. Thank you for your understanding while I caught up on chores and rest a little too!
