This policy governs all sites and websites of Contra Costa County. Public comments expressed on our social media channels do not reflect the opinions of the County, nor do we approve the content of any public postings or commentary on our social media channels. You, as the poster, are responsible for the content of your messages. Our social media channels are limited to discussion of matters related to the County and its mission. We welcome all comments, questions, and concerns about these topics that foster discussion and communication.

🎉 Adoption Update from , Rosie!

Rosie, who was adopted from our shelter as a puppy, has made her family—and all of us—so proud! On January 1, Rosie achieved her Barn Hunt Masters Title, 🏆 an incredible accomplishment after just three months of competing and five months of training.

💬 Her family shared: "I just wanted to share a happy story of the amazing things our CCAS pups are capable of after we say our goodbyes as they leave to their new homes. Thankfully, we get to live these successes and joyful times with her and, although Rosie was not one that was at the shelter long enough for y'all to meet her there, she wants to thank you all for the amazing work that you all do!"
