Number 10—the last cat in the colony!
It is so important to spay and neuter every single cat. Leaving even one or two unfixed can quickly start the cycle of breeding all over again, undoing all the progress that’s been made. That’s why making sure the entire colony is fixed is the key to long-term success!

What an amazing weekend! 🐾 Monkey and Minnow found loving forever homes, and today 11 community cats are off to the clinic for their spay/neuter appointments. Nine of these kitties are cared for by an incredible 84-year-old caretaker, Jerry, who went above and beyond—monitoring traps and driving them 30 minutes to meet our volunteer. We’re so thankful for the adopters, volunteers, clinic team, and caretakers who make it possible for cats to live their best lives!

Yesterday, 18 cats were fixed — 13 community cats and 5 fosters. The 13 community cats are fortunate to have an incredible caretaker who makes sure their every need is met, even while facing personal challenges. We are grateful to everyone who works tirelessly to make the world a better place for both animals and people.

This week has been a mix of joy, challenges, and heartbreak. We celebrated 13 community cats getting neutered, now living their best “resort-style” outdoor lives. Jack Jack pulled through a life-saving surgery at Cat Snip, when we feared the worst. And sadly, we said goodbye to our beloved Ozzy, despite every effort to save him.

Rescue is never easy—it brings sadness and frustration, but also incredible moments of joy and reward. We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports us and helps us continue our mission to give these cats the best care possible and, most importantly, ensure they are fixed.
