We want to give a BIG thank you to Fish Happens Indy - Aquarium and Plant shop, Aquatic Arts, ModernAquatix.com - Saltwater Aquarium Store, and our partners at Indy Neighborhood Cats for donating the coolers that make our winter cat shelters possible! 🐱❄️

Winter is one of the toughest times for outdoor and community cats — freezing temperatures, cold winds, and a lack of dry hiding spots can be dangerous and even life-threatening. These insulated shelters give cats a safe, warm, and dry place to escape the harsh weather, and they truly make a huge impact on their survival and well-being during the cold months.

Thanks to these generous donations, we’ll be handing out cozy winter shelters tomorrow at our Winter Shelter Event, happening at:
📍 7580 N Old St Rd 67, Mooresville

Shelters are FREE, but donations are always appreciated to help us continue supporting community cats and offering programs like this.

This Saturday - worth your time and drive!

For $25 - you get DAPP (Parvo/distemper) for dogs OR FVRCP for cat AND rabies vaccine AND a microchip!

You will not get all of that anywhere right now! The free clinics are done until spring 2026 - too cold and there are not many cat events (vaccinating cats is not fun).

Fourteen cats were fixed yesterday! 🐾
Mama Kitty was the last of the adults from a colony of 16—only two kittens remain, and they’ll be fixed this spring.

Street Cat has now fixed 556 cats and helped subsidize 188 more through Public Vet. 2025 has truly been an amazing year, and we are so grateful for everyone who cares for community cats and supports our mission.

Spay and neuter remain the most effective way to reduce suffering and improve the lives of our feline friends.

🐾❄️ Round 2: Winter Cat Shelter Handout! ❄️🐾

We’re back for another round of helping our community cats stay warm and safe this winter! 🐱

As the temperatures drop, many outdoor cats need a safe, warm place to rest. We’re hosting Round 2 of our Cat Winter Shelter Handout on Saturday, November 15th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 7580 North Old State Road 67 in Mooresville.

Stop by to pick up a FREE winter cat shelter — a small gesture that can make a big difference for a cat in need. 💜

All shelters are free, but donations are greatly appreciated to help us continue providing warmth and care for our furry friends.

Together, we can make this winter a little kinder for community cats. 🐾❤️

She is suitable for families, singles, or couples, especially those who spend considerable time at home and value quiet companionship. This beautiful one year old female tabico is a sweet, affectionate young cat who loves attention and companionship. She will happily follow you around, waiting for the perfect moment to sit down and receive pets and love. Once comfortable, her gentle personality shines. Millie may be initially shy, requiring about a day to adjust to new surroundings. However, with patience, she will quickly warm up and become your loving shadow. She is vocal when seeking attention but otherwise quiet and easygoing. Millie enjoys human company and being petted. Although she is not bonded to her sister, Sunny, she would enjoy having another cat around! To ensure a smooth transition, Millie needs time and a calm environment to adjust. She does not like carriers or travel, making a stable home essential. Millie would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can feel secure and loved. Her adoption fee is $80. Princess Fiona hopes that everyone had a delightful Halloween weekend 🎃. Despite being as sweet as the candy we’ve all ate this weekend she remains in search of a forever family. At just 1 year and 7 months old, Princess Fiona embodies the spirit of youth and playfulness. She would br great for any familh whether you have other cats, dogs, or kids. Princess Fiona's adoption fee is $80, and she has undergone spaying, microchipping, vaccination, and parasite treatment. To guarantee a seamless transition, it is always advisable to introduce her gradually to other furry family members.
