Remember sweet Rusie?!? 🐾🐈

Rusie was found wondering for several weeks on Ruth Rusie Way in Martinsville. He looked worn down but friendly and eager to eat. He strolled right into our open crate and made his way quickly into his foster’s heart. Rusie received medical care immediately for his skin and eye issues. It was discovered he was FeLV positive so we needed to boost his immune system up. He also underwent eye surgery.

What a difference love made for Rusie. He is now living his best life with other FeLV cats The Ranch Cat Rescue chasing feet of anyone that comes to see him 💙

We had a sweet helper this weekend as we made home deliveries to several local individuals needing food assistance for their pets! Several of the cats even came up to say, “thank you.”🐾
Your donations not only help the animals in our direct care, but they also help others who are struggling with their own pets.❤️ It feels wonderful to have a community helping each other out when the need arises-keeping animals in their home where they belong 🐈

Yes, their thickened winter coats help feral and stray cats weather winter's chill, but they still need warm, dry, well-insulated and appropriate-sized shelters. It's cheapest to build your own.
