Our fundraiser with BluTattoo Studio was amazing! We never could have imagined the support everyone showed for us and our mission.
Thanks to our community, we raised more than our goal! These donations will be put toward helping the people and animals affected by Hurricane Helene during the long winter months. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for showing up for those in need, and helping us make a difference. We couldn't do it without your help.

Twelve. Hundred. Animals —— 7 weeks.

Twelve hundred animals have been rescued from illness or injury because of Brother Wolf in the last 7 weeks.

We have never felt closer to our community. We have shared stories, laughed together, held each other as we cried. Helped each other.

How has it been 7 weeks? The days are going by fast, and we haven’t stopped. It has been challenging, heartbreaking, and soul-filling at the same time. Having a place to put our energy, a way to put our grief and pain into something bigger, has been a gift in the darkest of days.

Rebuilding Brother Wolf’s shelter will be a long path to walk. We understand that, but we don’t have to rebuild the part of Brother Wolf that makes us who we are - because that lives in every person who deeply loves animals, who deeply loves their neighbors and who supports the work we are lucky to do each and every day.

Dakota is an experienced animal care professional with nine years of hands-on expertise in boarding, daycare, grooming, rescue, veterinary medicine, and serves as our Program Manager of Animal Affairs. Dakota actively collaborates with local rescues to secure vital resources for animals in need. In her downtime, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her beloved pack of rescue animals. Her passion for helping pets flourished through fostering, where she discovered her dedication to supporting animals facing health or housing challenges, as well as providing socialization opportunities. Driven by a strong desire to assist animals impacted by natural disasters, Dakota's ultimate goal is to address medical and housing needs while also providing essential support to pets in her community.
