We need your help! We're looking for volunteers to help transport🚙 firewood and other cold weather supplies to Asheville and surrounding areas. Send us a message or email us at [email protected] if you are able to transport supplies.
👉ALL physical donations can be dropped off at Orben's Automotive at 1045 Fisher Farm Rd.
⭐️PLEASE NOTE⭐️ we will be only taking clothing donations that are washed, not stained or have any holes in them. (This applies to blankets as well.) If you are willing to donate, please remember we are asking for COLD WEATHER clothing. ALL canned goods need to be in date and not expired.

Our fundraiser with BluTattoo Studio was amazing! We never could have imagined the support everyone showed for us and our mission.
Thanks to our community, we raised more than our goal! These donations will be put toward helping the people and animals affected by Hurricane Helene during the long winter months. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for showing up for those in need, and helping us make a difference. We couldn't do it without your help.

This is why we do what we do! To help people and animals in areas affected by natural disasters. Come by BluTattoo Studio to learn more and possibly win yourself a raffle basket!

Twelve. Hundred. Animals —— 7 weeks.

Twelve hundred animals have been rescued from illness or injury because of Brother Wolf in the last 7 weeks.

We have never felt closer to our community. We have shared stories, laughed together, held each other as we cried. Helped each other.

How has it been 7 weeks? The days are going by fast, and we haven’t stopped. It has been challenging, heartbreaking, and soul-filling at the same time. Having a place to put our energy, a way to put our grief and pain into something bigger, has been a gift in the darkest of days.

Rebuilding Brother Wolf’s shelter will be a long path to walk. We understand that, but we don’t have to rebuild the part of Brother Wolf that makes us who we are - because that lives in every person who deeply loves animals, who deeply loves their neighbors and who supports the work we are lucky to do each and every day.

NOVEMBER 16th we are doing a fundraiser cohosted by BluTattoo Studio ! Come out for a fund day of camaraderie, fresh ink, and amazing vibes! The goal is to raise as much money as possible to continue to make a difference in our beloved Appalachia! So come out in force and help us achieve this, so we can continue to benefit our neighbors ! All proceeds will be going to getting our non profit Hope for Hounds & Humanity, off the ground and slowly running in the right direction! Our vision as a non profit is to help the people and animals in immediate need to recover and rebuild after natural or man made disasters take place! Brandon has a wide background, having worked in carpentry, forestry, and other hands-on fields. His experience ranges from coordinating marketing offices and sales teams for AT&T on the corporate level and a smaller local scale helping small businesses with marketing and consultation advice. With experience managing small teams, Brandon plans to form and lead small disaster teams into affected areas to rescue and relieve the people and animals in need. Brandon is garnering partnerships and sponsorships between different organizations and companies to help our growth as a non-profit organization. He enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking in his free time. With multiple dogs, Brandon has a passion for animals as well as a drive to help people in need. He spent the first couple of weeks helping hands-on with the damage and destruction caused by Hurricane Helene in the Western North Carolina area. This created a passion and vision to be a part of and form something greater to help people and animals on a larger scale. Creating an environment of preparedness and readiness for man-made or natural disasters is his overall goal and commitment to the organization.

Dakota is an experienced animal care professional with nine years of hands-on expertise in boarding, daycare, grooming, rescue, veterinary medicine, and serves as our Program Manager of Animal Affairs. Dakota actively collaborates with local rescues to secure vital resources for animals in need. In her downtime, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her beloved pack of rescue animals. Her passion for helping pets flourished through fostering, where she discovered her dedication to supporting animals facing health or housing challenges, as well as providing socialization opportunities. Driven by a strong desire to assist animals impacted by natural disasters, Dakota's ultimate goal is to address medical and housing needs while also providing essential support to pets in her community.

With a background that spans veterinary science and business management, Megan brings a rare blend of compassion and strategic expertise to her role, making a tangible difference in every project she takes on.
Beyond her nonprofit work, Megan is dedicated to homeschooling her children and co-managing an automotive business alongside her husband, Orben. She seamlessly balances family life and community service, always driven by a commitment to helping others and making a meaningful impact.

Julianna is committed to enhancing the lives of her rescued pets as well as the lives of other animals in need.
