Who’s looking for a lovely “Walk in the Park” type of horse? Parker is your guy! This outstanding grandson of Contango is a 5 year old dutch/tb cross currently standing at 16.2, and expected to mature around 16.3hh. Parker has been schooling small courses with junior/amateur riders, as well as working well off property and in the show ring with little prep. He’s a beautiful mover with a lovely jump and is on his way to being a competitive 3-ring type of horse. He is still green but he has a great brain, he’s brave to the jumps, has a natural change, hacks out alone or with company, and can be easily finished by an intermediate rider in a program or would make a nice investment horse for a professional. Sweet P (Queenofthekingdom by Animal Kingdom) is an adorable 16hh 8 year old mare. She is broke WTC and has been started over fences. She has floaty gaits, natural suspension, and a cute frame that would set her up for a successful dressage career. She’s also brave to fences and could excel as a hunter or jumper. Sweet P has more go than woah, but has a soft mouth and comes back easily. She’s a sensitive mount and requires a quiet rider, but has a good brain and learns quickly. This mare has been easy to bring along and improves with every ride. She’ll advance in the blink of an eye with her own person to put more miles under her belt!

Tori is a very sweet 8 year old OTTB mare standing at 16.2hh. She was lightly re started under saddle with several months of professional development after weaning her 2022 foal. She’s now ready to continue her training. Tori will walk through pool noodles as well as over bridges and tarps. She’s also been on some trails and doesn’t mind crossing a creek. This mare is still green but has never offered to buck, bolt, or rear. During her time in training she has come along nicely and has shown potential to be a cute dressage horse. Or, you can introduce her to fences and have yourself a lovely hunter!

URGENT ISO!!

Hello! Our farm hand just let us know today, that sadly, she can no longer work for us. Life is pulling her away and we need someone ASAP to clean stalls and help with other daily chores. We currently have 18 horses consisting of young stock, broodmares, young horses in training, a couple of retirees, a few lesson horses and a variety of sale prospects. We are a small private farm with a close knit “horse family” culture. While it seems there is never a dull moment we still find time to enjoy the magic of the horses in our care. The ideal candidate would have good horse handling abilities, pay attention to details, and a positive attitude (even when things get a little crazy😜). We would love to find that perfect 🤩 person that can stay in the position long term and really get to know us! BONUS if you can ride greenies and more bonus points for handy man skills! 😁 We could also offer housing in our unique “equestrian cottage” as part of your compensation for the right candidate!

We are ALSO LOOKING 👀 for seasonal or longer term working students with a desire to learn training and riding techniques. This is a more hands on experience with a variety of horses working at different levels. Riding experience is required. Not for beginner riders but willing to work with intermediate and above riders that want to learn and have a “training” mindset. In the “& MORE” category we have a lovely Hunter/Jumper or Dressage Prospect

Kat is a stunning 2015 16.2h Holsteiner/KWPN mare by Lord Z and Darco on the Dam side. She had a lovely 2022 foal. Prior to breeding she had been slowly and correctly started with a good foundation of flat work and has been well schooled over fences with some trail riding and hunter pace/x-country schooling as well. In the jump chute she shows the same effortless scope and style as her parents. This mare is game and LOVES to jump!

Kat is conformationally correct, big b***d (but not coarse), uphill and built to be a powerhouse. She has a floaty trot with lots of impulsion and a huge ground covering canter. She’s very light mouthed and comfortable which makes riding her big, athletic gaits even more enjoyable. While we feel she could be a success in the jumper ring or a Derby horse, she would be equally at home in the hunt field or hunter show ring. She is a blast to ride out. No spook, sensible about everything and has a great work ethic. She is “forward thinking” but not “hot”. So easy, anyone can ride her. She will need some refresh training since having her baby and would do best with an intermediate or above rider working in a program. A pro would also enjoy her as an investment project. She is the same horse whether she works once a week or every day. No problem with crowds, kids, dogs, hounds, inclement weather, etc. She pretty much handles everything we throw at her...busy schooling rings, trailers, farriers, turn out buddies, trails, wide open spaces, water.

The best thing about this mare is her great brain and amateur-friendly personality. Although still green, she is all heart and tolerant of rider error. She is currently barefoot and an easy keeper with no maintenance, vices, or health issues. She is owned by an equine vet and has had impeccable care.

In the & MORE category, Meet “Gayfields Hula Hoop” aka “Henry”! Henry is a really nice pony that just needs some more miles and he will be a great addition to your barn! Henry is a smart pony with a gentle disposition. This guy is 13.2hh, big bodied, and has an engine of his own. He also has a great brain and we can see him being successful as a pony finals quality hunter pony with plenty of scope for pony jumpers, pony club and eventing. He was just started under saddle early 2022 as a 7 year old and has come along quickly moving up to 2’3”/2’6” with several rated shows under his belt now. He will be 9 in June. He’s super game and will be a top contender in any show ring. As a bonus he was born a buckskin with a grey gene, so he has dark points and super cool light brown eyes.
