This is going to be a long one but I hope you read it through -
There will be a significant price increase that will take effect on July 1st. This decision has not been made lightly, and I aim to be fully transparent about the reasons behind it.
First and foremost, the costs of supplies, rent, and utilities have all risen considerably, impacting operational expenses. However, the primary reason for the price increase is my commitment to enhancing the well-being of my incredible employees. Starting soon, I will be offering my teams health, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, I aim to provide paid vacation time, more paid holidays, higher employer-matched 401(k) plans, and further opportunities for paid education and certifications.
I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of care for both my salon and staff, with the hope of inspiring other salons to do the same. My decision to offer these benefits, which most other salons do not, is rooted in my belief in creating a supportive and rewarding work environment. This will ensure that the team at Bows & Biscuits can continue to deliver the outstanding care and quality you have come to expect and deserve
I am so proud of this team's dedication to providing outstanding service and their eagerness to learn the newest skills. We will continue to lead the way in our industry by being the first local salon to require all staff to hold certifications with Fear Free, the AKC, Pet First Aid and CPR, and soon, Professional Groomer certifications through the IPG.
I understand the tough financial times posed by the current cost of living. This change will be most significant for those clients who have been with us since the change of ownership in 2020. While I do not want our services to become unattainable for anyone, I recognize that some budgets may not accommodate the higher prices. If you have concerns or need recommendations for other salons that may better suit your current needs, please speak directly with your groomer. We are here to help in any way we can.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us. This journey has been incredible, and I look forward to continuing to elevate the grooming industry's commitment to care and safety. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. We love you and appreciate you.
