“Emily, why do you require slip leads on top of a standard leash when walking the dogs?”

Because I’ve seen too many dogs slip a collar and run away. Collars way too loose. Dogs who pull and slip away from the walker… so many different reasons. Slip leashes (when used correctly) are almost escape proof. All of the dogs who get walked from T&T Boarding & Daycare actually have their slip leads anchored to a walking waistband, so if they try to run, the standard leash gets dropped, etc., they are still attached to the walker. These are actually my two dogs in the photo and I advised slip leads aren’t required but we still opted to use them! Safety first ✅

It’s such a simple precaution that can prevent something devastating.

We had so much fun at the Trunk or Treat event at Texas Roadhouse! Bronco & Ranger met so many of new faces and we all appreciate the cuddles you gave them. There was a duck mascot that Ranger did not like at all 😂 but outside of that, 10/10 good time! We will see you next year! 🐾🩵

Jax (small dog) is a frequent flier here and he in fact does usually sleep on my head!

Another Big Jax update! Jax has been apprehensive to play, he isn’t sure what to do. After losing his doggie sitter, Jax forgot how to dog. We do our best to pair dogs up for 1 on 1 play that can help gain their confidence and/or get their energy out. Lincoln (golden) is a sweet, level headed pup. Lincoln followed Jaxs’ lead, as Jax was unsure about fully engaging. Seeing the complete 180 on Jax is so beautiful. 🫶🏻
