🐾ANNOUNCEMENT!!🐾

After some very heavy consideration, we have decided that starting January 1st our prices will be increasing. With the rising costs of the economy, the increase is necessary in order to ensure we continue using the top shampoos and tools to keep your fur babies feeling and looking great.

Also, our 24 hour no show/ cancellation fee will be enforced for all customers. With that being said, we understand emergencies do happen, sickness happens, life happens. We will do our best to accommodate those instances when we can. Your appointment is our livelihood and when we have a last minute no show or cancellation, it can be difficult to quickly fill the spot.

We thank you for your understanding and continued support in keeping our small business going🐾💜

NOTICE…Starting Immediately!

Due to SO MANY no shows and cancellations on day of drop off there will now be a No Show/Cancellation charge before scheduling any future appointments. Your appointments are my livelihood so when you don’t show up or don’t give me time to fill your booked appointment I don’t make any money. It’s not fair to me or the people I turn away that could use the spot you were scheduled for.
As always I appreciate your business and understanding…thank you!!! 💜🐾

This goes for Puncher Grooming as well, we have to keep our 4 legged friends safe🐾💜

Due to the recent Kennel Cough and Distemper outbreaks in the surrounding counties we are needing PROOF of current vaccinations before we will board or groom your dogs. Vaccinations required are Dhlpp(distemper parvo combination), Rabies and Kennel Cough (bordetella). Please provide proof via text(picture) or bring copies with you. Thanks for understanding, we want to keep your pups safe!! 💕🐶 💉

For those that have been calling and texting, I am trying to get back to everyone. My newborn had to be admitted back to the hospital so it’s been chaotic to say the least. Just know, I am working as quickly as I can to get back to everyone, I apologize for the delay in response.

All appointment drop off times are between 8-10am unless otherwise arranged. If pups are not dropped off by 10am, they are marked as a no show and a no show fee may be applied on next appointment. Thank you

🐾ANNOUNCEMENT 🐾
I will be returning from maternity leave May 6th, which means my schedule is now open! Please be patient as I contact everyone on my waiting list, it could take a few days. If I have not contacted you by the end of the week, please please reach out to me and we will get your fur baby scheduled.

With the rising cost of operation, there will be some price adjustments across the board and we hope you understand. You will be notified at the time of booking if the price for the service requested has increased.

With our newest little one added to our family there may be times that it takes longer for your dog to be completed, we apologize in advance and ask for you to bare with us as we navigate our new life. We ask that all dogs be picked up within an hour of us calling letting you know they are finished, unless otherwise arranged. If dogs are left past the pick up time frame, there may be a daycare fee added to the total at pick up.

Thank you for hanging in there with us. We appreciate each and every one of you.

‼️LONG ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

I have had a good amount of my clients ask when I will be out for maternity leave and when I will stop taking appointments. I will try to answer as much of those questions in this post as possible, but due to the nature of the situation, nothing is absolutely certain.

As most of my clients know already, I am under weight restrictions for the remainder of the pregnancy and am very limited on large dogs that I can take in until sometime after April. Until then, Tara with Sunny Star Kennels will have limited availability to take in the dogs I cannot. (Prices will still remain the same for my clients)

If everything continues to go smoothly, I plan to take appointments until the second week of April. From then on, things will be on a touch and go basis until my son is born.

As far as maternity leave, I cannot say for certain how long I will be out after delivery. Everything depends on safety and healing. Tara will have limited availability for my regular clients until I am released to come back.

I will try and keep everyone posted as things come up over the next few months. As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me. To those that have been patient with me during the chaos of doctor appointments, I greatly appreciate you and your support.
