UPDATE 8/1: I am overwhelmed by the support I have received from this situation. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with their encouragement. My main goal is to make sure my customers feel safe, and unfortunately this individual's post compromised that, which is why I felt the statement needed to be made. Thank you so much for your love and outreach. Today is a new day and I am ready to keep providing all the positive reinforcement to every being (human and K9)! Give your dog a treat for me. ✌️

It’s disheartening to address this, but as a small business owner with two businesses in the Lansing community, I feel it would be insensitive to not respond to this comment and let it go ignored, especially given my strong support for and love for many individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.

It’s the dog days of summer 🐶☀️What are you up to this weekend frens? We loved making this cake for our fren Apollo a few weeks ago for his barkday.

✨Riese and I were up bright and early working on orders until she decided to go back to bed and left me to finish frosting these barkday cakes! 🤣 I don’t mind though she’s competitively compensated for the user experience she provides. 🤭
