No one tells you how quickly dogs age. How one day you wake up and suddenly their face is all white, how their eyes start to seem more milky than before, how you have to call their name a few more times than you used to.

People tell you not to blink when you have children, but what about the dog who was with you before your children were even thought of? The dog who was by your side before you found the love of your life, the dog who jumped from apartment to apartment with you in your early 20’s. No one tells you to cherish every moment you have with them…

Cherish the dog. The one who’s been there through every break up and every dumb fight with your best friend. That dog who slept in the bed with you when you were lonely and made you feel safe when you left home. Cherish him, because one day you’ll take him on a walk and he’ll start to get tired before you, and you’ll realize just how many years he’s been walking by your side.

Update: We have had a lot of excellent families reach out to us wanting to make Whaler part of their family! Thank you for your patience while we sort through our messages!

Whaler is looking for her retirement home! She is 3 years old, spayed, up to date with vaccines and preventatives. She is crate trained, has basic obedience/leash training, and rides well in the car. She would do best in a home with another dog. No cats or small animals, and no children under 13.

Whaler’s rehoming fee is $1️⃣🎱0️⃣0️⃣. We will be fielding inquiries to find the home that suits her best. Please email us if you would like to add her to your family!

Yulie and Hazel have both been bred to Oliver and are confirmed pregnant! Yulie’s pups are due to arrive the end of January, and Hazel’s are due the beginning of February. Puppies will go home in April!

I’ve seen lots of posts of “safe” Thanksgiving food for dogs. While yes, these are technically “safe” to give your pup, please refrain from giving your dog an entire feast of their own. It is not worth a trip to the vet ER! An extra dog biscuit or a tablespoon of plain pumpkin on their food is more than enough for your furry friend to partake in the holiday! If your dog has a sensitive stomach, just stick to their regular diet!
