Why Pumpkin treats you ask? Well if you have little dogs (like I do) you may know about a**l gland problems. Foods with Pumpkin can help prevent that b***y scoot issue. I also don't like expressing their glands so if I can prevent I absolutely will 😀

How are the peanut butter treats made? I start with peanuts, add little coconut oil to make my own peanut butter. Next I add local farm fresh eggs and flour. Once I have a good dough I roll it out and cut into bones and bake at 350 degrees. There you have it your dogs (and my dogs too) favorite pb treat!

Last but not least today's "Meet your treat tester" is Kira. She is the other damaged cocker and littermate to Scarlett. Kira still has a very long road ahead but she has learned to trust just a little. When I approach her in her safe place on the couch she now gives me her belly for pets! This is HUGE for her! She was frozen in fear and now I'm seeing signs of a sassy girl who owns the couch and the pack let's her have her way 😀

Today's "Meet your treat tester" is Scarlett. Scarlett came to me thru SCARS (Second Chance Animal Refuge Society) and is one of my two damaged cockers. They came to SCARS severly abused and didn't trust anyone. Scarlett has made a huge amount of progress but still has so far to go. She will only allow me to touch her when we are in bed or if she is in her safe place on the couch. When she comes to the kitchen for a treat I know they must be good.

FYI you may never see her in my videos as the camera terrifies her. They (Kira and Scarlett) would prefer that only I know they exist.

Today's "Meet your treat tester" is baby Luna. She is the littermate to Luci. Luna is sassy and it's her way or she tells you about it. Good thing she is cute! She's not the least bit spoiled haha

Sorry we took a break for the holiday. Today’s “Meet your treat tester” is Lucy aka psycho dog. She’s about 1.5 yr old Shih Tzu and a hot mess! Luci doesn’t know a stranger (person or any animal for that matter) and has no concept of personal space. I’ve never known a dog with this much personality!

Today's "Meet your treat tester" is Jug aka Juggernaut. He was rescued from a bad situation almost 4 yrs ago. He was skittish and didn't like to be touched. Now he is always by my side and the biggest baby but at the same time my fierce protector. He's also the BEST big brother to other scared dogs.
