Former loyal companion Sudbury groomers Stephanie and Suzanne are now located at their very own dog grooming salon, NOT TOO Shaggy located at:
47R Nason Street, Maynard, MA 01754

• We are open Monday-Thursday starting at 8:00 A.M. A typical day can be from 8:00 A.M. - 3:00 PM.

• It wo

uld be best to call for an appointment, including nail trims, due to the busyness of our day and the inability to stop during our grooms for a walk-in.

• We offer FULL service dog grooming. Full service includes a bath, blow dry and brushing, de-shedding, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, haircuts, nail clipping, and grinding. Everything mentioned is included with the groom NO extra charge!

• We apologize, but we do not offer hand stripping.

•Debbie is offering Friday and Sunday classes. Some additional evening classes may be available as well.

☆ ABOUT THE GROOMERS ☆

Stephanie has been grooming for 15 years, and Suzanne has been grooming for 10 years. We are honoring what WAS the best pet store in that Sudbury space before Loyal Companion, ESPECIALLY FOR PETS, with their nail trim donations to different rescues throughout the year. We will be picking different rescues and will have information posted about them with details on what they are about .

• 50% of nail trims will be donated to that rescue

Stephanie offers pet paintings/portraits, specially ordered through her. "I have been painting sense I can remember. 🙂 I've done many pet paintings over the years, and I am super excited to have a place to display some of my artwork with the opportunity to paint more grooming clients. " -Steph

It is absolutely amazing and so heart warming how many people from our community have taken time and their own money to help get donations for the survivors in the south (both people and animals) . None of this would be possible without all of you! Thank you so much! Tracy will be leaving November 5th to deliver all the goods. There is still time to donate if you would like too. These two beautiful sweet babies came in today for a much needed wash and cut. They just got to the wonderful Buddy Dog Humane Society, Inc. a few days ago! Hopefully they find their forever home soon! They really are just the sweetest ❤️🐾

A HUGE Thank you to Buddy Dog Humane Society, Inc. for donating 30-40 much needed crates for the animals in the Carolina’s! You are amazing! ❤️🐾🐈‍⬛ 🐶

THANK YOU to all drivers convoying to N. Carolina with loads of supplies for humans and animals! Tracy Lee McInnis of came last night with a 28' rig to pick up donations from Not Too Shaggy
All Paws Dog Training and Behavior Modification donation drive. More than 35 dog crates as well as other supplies!

WE ARE STILL COLLECTING SO PLEASE DROP OFF ITEMS IN FRONT OF OUR SPACE AT 47R NASON ST, MAYNARD. FOR DOGS, CATS, HORSE AS WELL AS CLOTHING, GLOVES, SHOES, SOCKS FOR HUMANS.

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

🩵💙🤍ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Wow what can we say! It’s been one amazing year that has absolutely flown by! Thing’s truly happen for a reason. Our shop perfectly fell into place one thing after the other after the corporate place we where at filled for bankruptcy.A dream we have had for a long time finally came true and oh how happy and SO incredibly greatful for all Our AMAZING clients. This sweet pup was fired from grooming at a big corporate pet store for biting and being “out of control “ owner was told he needed to be medicated. We see it happen way to often. The most important thing for your dog while being groomed is building a trusting relationship with the groomer. Being treated with respect and not pushed when they are telling us not to push them with something. Your groomer understanding dog behavior and having a true connection with animals is key in a long term positive and happy grooming experience for your dog. THIS DOG DID NOT BITE ME nor did he need to be medicated. He was having such a awful experience elsewhere that his own mom couldn’t even brush him anymore he started to try to bite her too. I had to take the video so she would believe me lol 😆. He did come into my shop growling and lifting his lip not knowing if he could trust me but left jumping up and giving me a big smooch when I brought him out to his mother. 😘 ❤️ There are SO many reasons i love what I do but this touches my heart knowing I can make a comfortable happy experience for a once tormented dog. ❤️
