UPDATE 4-18-24: Lola is home!
The owner got a call this AM that she was running around someone’s pool area and they went out and were able to secure her.
Thank you to Stephanie Goebel, Laurie Wynne, Chris Lowe, and the whole community of Sudbury for working together to get her back!

Hi 👋🏼 I am receiving a lot of pet sitting requests and I’d love to clear up common questions.

- I can only offer a drop in type service, NO staying at a clients home, nor do I board at my home at this time.
- For homes with dogs, I provide 25-45 minute drop ins 3-4 times a day. I will adhere to the schedule you request (within reason)
-Cat or small animal drop ins are shorter but I will of course follow reasonable instructions.
-I can provide references of current clients and the care I provide.

This sweet boy deserves a chance

Please consider donating to help this family !!!!!! Meet Frankie a 6 month old puppy who has been diagnosed with a blockage . The family has 2 young kids and already spent a lot of money getting the diagnosis so they reached out for help trying to save their beloved pet . They took him to VCA And got quoted them between 10-12 thousand for the surgery. As you can image they can’t not afford that amount . Time and money is the problem can we find someone to do it cheaper ???? Can we find someone today ? We have been working all day trying to find a solution because quite honestly we can not afford 10-12 thousand either . I am happy to report we found a vet that can do the surgery today and try to save this boy for $4,400. We also have another rescue helping out with $1,000 towards his bill. So the balance is $3,400. If everyone would consider giving a little something towards his bill we would appreciate it !!! He is literally on his way for life saving surgery so if you would like to send good thoughts his way we would appreciate that as well. This is why you need to know who is walking or caring for your pets. This video shows this man hitting a CLIENTS dog.

When choosing a pet care professional please do the same diligence as if this was a childcare provider.

This morning at approximately 11 a.m., officers responded to the area of Fellsway West and Sheridan Ave for a report of animal cruelty involving a man who was walking a group of dogs. According to witnesses, the man struck one of the dogs multiple times in the head and then lifted the dog off the ground by its collar in a harmful manner. One witness provided video evidence to the officers, allowing them to identify the suspect. The officers then responded to the suspect's home, where he was taken into custody.

Frederick Ingrando, 33, of Medford, was arrested and charged with Animal Cruelty.

The dogs, not owned by Mr. Ingrando who is a hired dog-walker, were removed and are in a safe location awaiting pick up by their owners. The dog that was struck was taken to a local veterinarian to be evaluated.

This investigation is still on-going.

I have been seeing a lot of report of dogs getting really sick from purina pro plan. I am happy to provide alternative suggestions if you choose to switch.

Stop the food immediately.

*Update as of 1/4/24 - 213 dogs and cats (155 dogs, and 58 cats) sick eating Purina, 57 of which have died.

Since 12/5/23 in the 'Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time' group on Facebook there have been 48 dogs and 3 cats sick eating Purina, 10 of which have died. It seems to be from all different types of Purina, with Purina Pro Plan being the most common. If you or someone you know is feeding this food, I would stop immediately! Do NOT wait until your pet gets sick or Purina issues a recall.

Initially, there were offering to reimburse the pet owners for their pet food. Currently, they are offering pet parents $10 in coupons (which is what Hills offered me for my dead dog) and having a third party contact the pet parents.

Eventually, we may see Purina pet food become “unavailable” on the store shelves. This is called a silent recall. The pet food manufacturer doesn’t want to admit there is a problem with the product, so they start pulling the products off the shelves quietly. (Hills did this for 60 days before the recall)."
